It felt like the weight of the world had been momentarily lifted off of my shoulder's. But Lucifer's last words still haunted me in the corners of my mind, Belladonna broke me from my thoughts.
"Sam, let's get you out of this place." She put her hand on my shoulder, our heavy breathing was the only sound in the decrepit room. I turned to look at Adam, the excitement fading from my body, I felt exhausted and full of grief.
"I can't leave him.....not again." I whispered. Hot tears streamed down my face, Belladonna now stood in front of me, her hands cupping my dirty cheeks.
"Be at peace Sam, he will not stay in this horrid place any longer." Her voice was soft and gentle. Adams body was soon engulfed in a pale blue light. Like fireflies, the light separated into small orbs, they filled the room and Adam's body was no longer slumped in the corner. With a wave for her hand, Belladonna caused the orbs to swirl together and rush towards the ceiling, vanishing into thin air. She placed her hand on my shoulder once more and my eyelids became heavy. Slowly loosing consciousness, I looked at her in confusion.
"Rest, now, rest." She whispered as I finally gave into the sleep that called for me.

My brain felt as though it had been filled with cotton balls, I slowly opened my eyes to find unfamiliar surroundings. As I sat up, everything in my brain suddenly came into focus and everything clicked, today was the day. Getting off of the worn cot that I had been lying on and began to walk around the foreign room I was in. It was strange how after everything and even my current situation my mind kept going to one thing, one person. Dean.
Trying to shake him out of my thoughts, I glanced around the room again and let out a sigh of frustration,
"Belladonna?" I called out. When the only response was the echo of my voice, I felt butterflies in my stomach as I was overcome by worry.
"Belladonna!" I called out again, more desperate.
"Sammy?" Dean's voice called back to me.
"Dean? Dean!" I yelled back, I rushed to the door to find that it wouldn't open, I looked in to the small window to see Dean running down a long corridor towards me.
"We gotta hurry, she'll be here soon." Dean said hurriedly as he fumbled with a ring of keys.
"Dean, what are you doing here? What's going on?" I questioned him.
"I'll explain later, but right now we gotta go!" He opened the door, grabbing my arm and pulling me out in the hall.
"Dean w-"
"Less talking, more running!" He interrupted me, taking off, I had no choice but to run after him. Running through the maze that was the building, it was some sort of warehouse and it seemed like ages before we saw the exit. I nearly ran into Dean, he had stopped short in his tracts, Belladonna was standing in front of the exit.
"What do you think you are doing?" She asked, eyes a dark purple.
"Leaving." Dean said flatly.
"Do you not realize the importance of this day? Really Dean, this is no time for childish games." Her voice was cool, her face emotionless, but her eyes said just how pissed she was.
"Listen here you son of a bitch I-"
"Dean, stop." I said quietly. He turned to look at me, eyebrows furrowed.

"Sam

"Sam...?" He looked at me, the brokenness in his eyes said it all. I opened my mouth to speak but as I stared at him a scream ripped through my throat.
"Dean! NO!" I yelled, an angle blade pierced through his chest, his eyes were wide with fear as he looked at me. I grabbed him before he fell to the floor, crumpling to my knees I held him. Blood began to leave his mouth, trailing down his cheek.
"S-sammy...look w-what....you've d-done," he gasped for air, "y-you killed me....again." His lips twitched into a brief smile before his rigged breathing stopped and his eyes lost their vibrance.
"Dean?" I whimpered, tears screaming down my cheeks as I looked at my brother.

"DEAN!!!!!" I screamed, face towards the sky, I was filled with rage. Sobs escaped my lips as I looked down at him again, then I looked to his attacker. Belladonna stood a few feet away, the angle blade still in her pale hand. I was speechless, even though there were so many things I wanted to say, to scream. Two escaped me mouth.
"Get out." I whispered through gritted teeth.
"Sam, I-"
"GET OUT!" I let my voice tear into her, in a matter of seconds she was gone. I looked down again but Dean was no longer in my arm's. I looked around the room confused, the windows and walls began to melt into a dark blur and everything lost shape and color.

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times afterwards. A thin layer of sweat laced my face and neck, I felt hot but was shivering from being cold. Sitting up, I grabbed my head as it throbbed and begged for me to lay back down. Ignoring it, I stood from the worn out cot I had been laying on, glancing around I saw Belladonna sleeping on a cot a few feet away from mine. Then everything came rushing back to me.

"Sam, I have no idea how this will effect your body...are you sure you want to do this?" Belladonna asked as she handed me the first jug of many filled with Lucifer's blood.
"Yeah-yes, I need to do this. It's like you said, its the only way." I replied, trying to hide the dread in my voice. I held the jug in my hand, looking a the crimson liquid inside. I thought a small prayer and started to drink the jug's content's.
Finishing off the last of Lucifer's blood, I had a feeling that was indescribable, it felt amazing and wrong at the same time.
"Are you alright? How are you feeling Sam?" Belldonna asked, her face twisted in concern, her eye's a light shade of purple. I was about to tell her when my knees went weak and I fell to the floor. My head spun and my body began to feel numb, Belladonna was on her knees in front of me. Her hands cupped my cheeks, I could see her lips moving, could hear the echo's of her calling my name. But everything went dark, everything went quite.

It was a dream, Dean hadn't come to get me, Belladonna didn't kill him. Lucifer's blood in my veins made me see one of the things I fear most. Dean being right.
