Last night LeAnn said I could redeem myself. But I was grounded. Nothing but school, homework, and cleaning. So here I was, scrubbing the counters. Liam walked in, amused. He must just love watching me play housemaid at his house.
He took a glass out and just as he went to the sink to fill it up with water, I went to wash out my rag. This caused us to run into each other. His glass of water spilled all over me.
Just my luck. I was wearing a white shirt and a bright blue bra. So yeah, it's become see-through. He couldn't restrain himself from laughter. He just could not contain himself. He burst into a series of laughs.
I rested my hands on my hips and glared at him. Then I took his glass from him and filled it up with water. I dumped it on his head and giggled. He was so cute and pathetic with his hair wet.
Just then our parents stormed in, and couldn't be angrier.
"What do you two think you're doing?" LeAnn scowled.
I turned my head, but my front side was still facing Liam. 'Cause, yeah, it's SEE-THOUGH. My dad looked especially unhappy and Liam slowly took the glass out of my hand and set it on the counter.
"You, Morgan, are supposed to be cleaning," LeAnn turned her glare to me.
I nodded and waited for them to leave. When they did, Liam and I continued our laughing.

On Monday, I went to school as if it were a regular day. But I was stopped near the doors by a strange (yet handsome) boy. He smiled.
"You're Morgan...right?" He cocked an eyebrow.
I nodded. "Yes?"
He laughed. "You don't seem so sure."
At my stupidity, I blushed. "No, my name IS Morgan-"
"Good," he interrupted. "I'd like to offer you on a date with me."
I shook my head. I didn't really want to go out with him, but the thought of going on a date was the perfect distraction from my dramatic life at home.
"No?" he seemed confused. Looks like he's never been rejected before. But I wasn't rejecting him. I was just as confused.
"Yes," I said quickly.
He smiled and walked away. "See you tonight. Here. I'll take you somewhere nice. Some of my friends are coming along if you want to invite some of yours."
Still astonished, I nodded slowly. I was late for school.
