A month goes by and Liam and I haven't talked at all. Not for anything. At school, I went to the office to do my work for Biology class. Oh, and get this. The whole school is making fun of Liam and me. Remember that snooty gossip girl named Hannah? Yeah, well her and Dean helped spread the rumor around that Liam and I are siblings. Everyone in the school now knows us as the brother and sister who date.

And who told them none other than one of my friends.

Two days ago:

I walk into the school to see everyone staring at me in the hallway. Some of the glances are amused. Others are grossed out faces staring at me with disapproval. I tried to ignore it but it's kind of hard when everyone in your school is judging you harshly.

"How do they know about me and Liam?" I asked Danise and Felisha.

Danise shrugged. "Ignore them, sweetie. They don't have anything better to do so they pretend they know something they don't."

Felisha stayed quiet.

"Felisha?" I murmured as we walk to our lockers.

We passed Onika and Naomi but they both ignored us and pretended that they didn't know us. Typical. All they want is popularity. If any chance that they get their reputation ruined, they are out of the picture. So much or them being my friends.

Felisha sighed and stopped in the middle of the hallway. "Morgan, I have something to tell you. You're going to hate me forever, but I....you have a right to know."

"Felisha?" I asked, bewildered.

"I'm the one who started the rumor. Onika and Naomi asked what was going on and I just...told them. I'm so sorry," she said sincerely.

Danise started to back away to her locker. The bell would ring any moment. I stared at Felisha, then closed my eyes and shook my head. I really thought at least SHE'D still be my friend through everything. But I guess not. Then I left, despite her calling me back.

After school, at home, I went to my room to think. Mid-thought, my stomach rumbled and I suddenly felt sick. Getting up quickly, I puked in the bathroom. Just another thing to worry about, another thing to remind me of Liam, another thing to tell Liam.

Walking out, I found Liam in the living room with his friends. They were all laughing about stupid things. Hmm...how to do this?

I walked in on one of their conversations and sat next to Liam. He seemed confused but totally ignored me. some of his friends looked at me like I was a doll. I glared at them but still tried to get Liam's attention.

"Liam," I whispered in his ear after pulling him closer to me.

But he was listening to one of his dufus friends tell him about a football game. Frustrated, I patted Liam's shoulder repetitively.

"What?" he asked irritably.

His friends laughed so hard about something that I had to wait so that Liam could hear me.

"I need to tell you something," I muttered.

He laughed along with his friends.

"Liam!" I hit him.

"Can it wait?" he growled.

Standing up, I said loud enough for his friends to hear, "Yeah, you know what? I guess it can."

I stormed off to my room and slammed the door. I heard his friends go 'oooooh, you're in trouble!'. Angrily, I stared at my bed. Deciding I would never sleep on it again, I made a makeshift bed on the floor.
