I was confidently walking towards the respective table that's reserved just for our business meeting when somebody called my name...

"Miss Vanzuela, am I right?" At nang maalala ko na ang familiar na mukha ay agad ko rin siyang nginitian. He's a good friend of our family and also one of the great magnates on the industry.

"Oh good evening tito Enrico or should I say Mr. Hidalgo? Haha. Having dinner with your—" bigla akong napahinto at awtomatikong nanlamig ang buo kong pagkatao nang makita ko kung sino ang kasama ni Tito. While the guy is just looking at me in a highly dignified way. WTF?!

I was taken back to reality when Tito started introducing this guy...
"Well iha meet your soon-to-be business ally, Tristan Co. Tristan, she's the one who I'm pertaining to you awhile ago, Faye Vanzuela." Formal na pagpapakilala niya saamin. Heck! There's no way na makikipag-negotiate ako sa lalaking 'yan.

"Nice meeting you" he said simply without even looking. Like seriously?! Ayoko na! I just want to disappear in this scene RIGHT NOW!

"T-tito, if you feel excuse me, our dinner meeting is about to begin anytime now. Have a great night you two." Dali-dali na akong umalis sa harapan nila at pumunta sa mesang dapat kanina ko pa naokupa. I know it's rude of me to get out of the scene on that kind of manner but I just can't stay there any longer. Anyway they're businessmen I know they can understand me naman since I'm on an urgent.

So back in my current state...

"Good evening Ms. Vanzuela..."
Blah blah blah and our meeting started.

Napadako ang mata ko sa table nina Tito Enrico and just like bullish*t! The guy's looking at me! Fudge! Did he remember me? My face? The kiss? Shoot this! Sana hindiiiii! Mabilis na inalis ko ang tingin ko sa kanya at tinakpan ko ng konti ang mukha ko gamit ang kamay ko as if I have headache. Tss I think inaalala niya nga siguro kung saan niya ako nakita like what the ef lang?! It's super duper shame on my part if he did remember me! And what the heck—

"Ms. Vanzuela? Are you still with us?" I was suddenly back on my senses because of that question. Sh*t just sh*t!

"I'm... I'm sorry. I was just distracted by this mild headache. What was that again Sir? Pardon?" Bullshit! Did I just idle?! Because of that damn guy?! How dare him!

After that great embarrassment I never dared to look at him again. I just focused on our meeting 'till the dinner ended.

HE'S WITH TITO ENRICO AWHILE AGO AND WHAT'S WORST IS THAT HE'S THE ONE DAD'S TARGET TO BE OUR NEXT PARTNER! HINDI RIN AKO MAKAPAG CONCENTRATE SA PINAGUUSAPAN NAMIN KANINA BECAUSE I COULD SENSE THAT HE'S LOOKING AT ME! AND I THINK HE REMEMBERED ME ALREADY! MY REPUTATION IS SO DOOMED! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!—" I'm now getting hysterical after all things sink in. I'm lucky enough that my parents weren't home, they could've seen me how I broke these things around me.
