I was the pawn who refused to move
The pawn in this chess board that refused to follow orders
The chessboard of smokes and mirrors
I was a pawn that thought I was the one at fault
The one who was wrong
Until I met the right king
Who taught me being lost opens new roads
Taught me that even when you can't find anything to hold to
Anything, any light to see in the dark
Just keep on moving
And that's what I did and I stumbled to them
13 kings
13 people to give me light
13 people who taught me I can be passionate
13 people that gave me the reason to wake up each day
13 people who sang me lullabies when I was a destructive hurricane
And also 13 people to love me when I was the summer breeze
warm and fresh
They are my chessboard because I long discarded the old one
And they are now my kings, and I am still the pawn
But for the 13 kings I will bow
And this I promise to the people who handed me hope
I will give you the world, I will show you the stars.

Another poem dedicated to Seventeen. It had been exactly one year since their first win and the only good thing I can do for them is to write a poem, so here it is.
