No, not the sit straight or walk like a lady
I was tamed by society
To limit my abilities, my undiscovered talents,
Because they think it's stupid
And they already named me before they even knew me
To always wear things that would cover my chest
And skirts that would be past my knees
To not say anything when I am called a prude
Because hey, I can't be raped this way, right?
To just ignore cat calling
Because society will nudge you on the elbow and say
"Come on, boys will be boys"
To just use my voice when flirting with men
Or to compliment everyone about the things
I do not even find appealing, but i find obligated to say
I was tamed to be a woman by society
Like a lion jumping around the ring of fire
But society forgot
Some lions can escape the circus and bite off their owner's head.
