From the girl whose butterflies long died
When her first heartbreak pierced her hopes and love
From the girl whose sun had long set
When her love has left
and left her cold through the night
From the girl who was in the shore
when she felt love came in waves
From the girl who wrote this poem
Why are you lying?
Why am I lying?
You left
But you left me with memories as well
And they did not left me cold
Because the mere thought of you warms up my heart and calms down my soul
And when love came in waves
No one warned me it will come as a huge tsunami
A tsunami that I thought I would drown
But when I was engulfed I felt peace and it washed all the troubles away
Maybe, our love was too short
And maybe we need an epilogue
But what I am certain right now is that when we fell in love I fell everything crash into me
And now that you're gone I cannot remove those "everything" from me
And no, it is not painful.
Because our love might be like those waves.
We were engulfed, but one day we will resurface as well.
