Overload 7-I Will Always Love You

                I jumped in right after him and instantly wrapped my arms around him pulling him close to me. I moved my left hand so that it was tangled in Kale’s dark hair, placing my right hand on his neck with my thumb tracing his jaw line. I pulled him in closer as I locked our lips back together with that fierceness that only he seemed to give me. I traced his lips with my tongue begging for entrance. When he let me in our tongues dashed in a fiery dance as I devoured the taste of him. Kale entwined his legs with mine underwater and moved his palms that they were pressed up against my chest.

                His wet fingers fumbled with the buttons on my white button up shirt. It wasn’t until he gripped my exposed hips with his hot wet hands that I broke the kiss. I released Kale and turned my back to him running my hands through my hair. “Too much,” was all I had to say on the matter. I tried to get my heavy breathing under control as I felt Kale’s stare on my back.

                When I turned back to face him he had become his shy reserved self again. The confidence that he had displayed was no longer there and his cocky grin had been replaced with a shy one. I just stared at him as I buttoned up my shirt. I sighed and then climbed up to sit on the edge of the pool with my feet in the water. Kale had taken a sudden interest in the bottom of my pool as he couldn’t take his eyes off of it.

                “Max!” A familiar voice called out to me, “Kale?”

                “We’re out back Beth!” I hollered in the general direction of her loud voice. Bethany emerged from around the house  her blonde hair falling perfectly around her smiling face as usual.

                She took one look at the two of us before saying, “Maya won’t be happy with you,” She said looking at me.

                “W-what do you mean?” I stuttered.

                “When she finds out that you two are doing whatever it is that you were just doing.”

                “How?”

                “You are both soaked, he won’t make eye contact, his hair is messed up, neither of you are breathing properly and your buttons are a button hole off. I mean really guys, if you’re trying to hide something like this then you could at least do a better job.” She said this all in one breath in a way that only she could. I stared at her with my mouth open.

                “Don’t worry your secret is safe with me as long as you promise to tell Maya about this yourself when she gets back.”

                “Okay,” I gulped. “Have any advice on how to go about doing that?”

                “Just be honest tell her how you feel about her and about Kale. I think that you will find her to be more understanding than you would think. She loves you so of course it will be hard to watch you walk away. But it’s because that she loves you that she won’t stop you from doing it.” When Beth wanted to be she could be really smart. As if on cue my phone vibrated on the table out here.
