I was nervous about going to a party where I don't even belong. But Levi had good connections so we weren't even checked at the gate, He took a name and we were allowed to go in now.

I wasn't able to believe in what I saw inside. A huge honorable crowd with the richest businessmen from around the world and their kids and friends, I wonder who are we related to here as Levi said that we had to act rich. I looked around me, at all those rich ladies talking to all those rich men. I saw one at the left corner near me, she was wearing an elegant black silk gown and was really skinny. Another beautiful girl was standing along the bar with a glass of wine in her hand, wearing a short blue dress with diamonds on it and a diamond neckless too. Then I looked down at myself. I matched the golden dress with my nude heels and a pearl neckless which was not even real. I let my blonde hair down, they went a little below my shoulder and I only put on a little makeup.

I nervously bit my lip and tasted the red maple lipstick that Kelly gifted me.

"I have a few friends around here so make yourself comfortable, I'll go and look for them." Levi said as he looked around with one hand in the pocket of his tuxedo pant and the other adjusting his black tie.

"Hey you can't leave me, I don't know anyone here!" I opened my arms and gestured towards the crowd.

"Getting in here was really difficult so I want you to make the most of it and enjoy yourself. let loose Vee, meet new people." And he left me alone in the crowd of unknown faces. The room was so big but there was barely any room available, everyone entered from behind me.

I was looking at everyone, how they were dressed and how they were talking like they own the place, unlike me. I was standing like it was my first day at new school. Deep breathing Nova....deep breathing. You belong here. I put on a smile and hunted the place for someone to talk to, who was as left alone as me.

My eyes stopped when I saw him across the room. Through the crowd, his face was the only one which was brightly visible to my eyes. Before I could think anything, my feet started walking towards him.

He had tousled dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous. His face was strong and defined, his fair face and features molded from granite. His playful smile had drawn into a hard line across his face.

There was only one word to describe the sun-kissed Grecian. A prominent jaw curved gracefully around and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that shaped his entire body; a firm chest and abdomen. He was an Adonis among the other men who each pale in comparison. One word passed from his lips had even the straightest of men flushing shades of red that no one ever knew was naturally possible. Adonis.

Someone walked past me which helped me come back to my senses and I stopped. But I realized I was already in his peripheral. Those bright eyes looked at me while he talked to a man in front of him. I've never had more soulful eye contact with a stranger like this. Before I could walk away or even turn around, he gestured towards the man and started walking towards me. I wanted to walk away but my feet were stuck there. I didn't know what I was supposed to say to him, why was I staring at him like that? What if he asks how I got in here?.

"Hey." He was standing in front of me now, his eyes fixed at me like he was trying to read my face.

"H-Hey." Yeah I really stammered, like literally.

He said something after that but the music was so loud.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?"

"The music's too loud here, mind coming to the balcony?" He said. I would not go with any stranger like this, but he was different. He was classy and he looked like he had girls around him all the time, so why would he want to talk to me? There was only one way to know.
