"Hey give it back to me!"

"This picture should be on the net!" Levi was standing on the bed with a picture of me in his hand. We were looking through all of our childhood pictures from the album.

"I look so stupid in that one. Here, this one's good." I handed him a picture of me from elementary school with two of my friends Sheri and Nancy on my either sides. Only because I think I looked good in that one.

"A good picture is of no use to me." He jumped down and put the picture back into the album.

We spent the rest of the afternoon reminiscing. On his 18th birthday, Levi was gifted a huge photo album by Dad. "If you're gonna give it to him then I want one too!" I would say. It was covered with vintage embellishments and a picture of Levi. Seeing how desperately I wanted it, he wrote my name on it too and later pasted a picture of both of us on it. So since then, it has been our album.

After our family lunch, dad went to his office and Levi was out with one of his friends, which I didn't know he had. He has never been a guy with many friends. But he said he had some good ones in college. I never got to see any of his college friends because I was in Lakewood.

It was a lazy afternoon. I had nothing to do, except for some laundry. Actually, a lot of laundry. Dad and Levi would prefer doing laundry once a month.

After having everything worked up. I lay down on my bed and started thinking about my story that I've been writing, or tried writing. Still nothing. I remember once someone told me that you can write fiction but It doesn't mean that you have to change everything around you. You don't have to create a new world. You can also take a part of your own world, that you live in, even a part or your own life. But unfortunately, my life is not that interesting, nothing surprising or special has happened in my life. That's when I thought about Evan, Something surprising. I still wonder why would he write that on the chalkboard, was it a date? Why would he even text me at the first place. God knows. He knows.

With nothing in my mind I shut the laptop down again and drifted to sleep.

EVAN'S POV

Office days are the worse. Some days all I do is sit in my extremely large cabin on my extremely comfortable chair and play with the paperweight. Everyone in the office has their assigned job and I was only useful when they needed signatures and to put forward their ideas or at meetings.

I have had only four hours of sleep. Not insomnia, I was thinking about the date. I don't regret writing what I wrote on that chalkboard but that was what I wanted to write, I don't know what she felt about it.

I keep thinking about calling her, but everytime I reach out for my phone something stops me, something inside me is thinking like an adult about this feeling. But something inside me is also thinking like a child, happy and excited.

Call her? No it's a bad idea. Don't call her? Why is this even an option.

Making up my mind, I lifted my phone and dialled her number.

NOVA'S POV

I was having a good sleep when suddenly someone decided to call me! I opened my eyes at the very first ring but it took me a few seconds to find where it came from. When I found my phone, I cursed the person on the phone and looked up at who it was. Evan. It said. Panic rushed inside me, why the hell is he calling me?I cleared my throat and picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Nova. Did I disturb you?" He said.

"I was actually having a really good sleep."
