Turning

(A/N: This has got to be the worst chapter I've EVER written. It sucks so bad, I was having massive troubles writing this, so I'll try to fix it up later.) 

Bella’s P.O.V

I stood there frozen as I watched Jane grab Alice by the neck. I knew if I didn’t do something Alice would be dead.

“Stop! Kill me! Kill me instead!” I yelled. I was completely willing to die for Alice. Jane hissed and looked up at me, smiling evilly. I looked at Aro and he wasn’t smiling anymore. I caught Edward’s eye and he was grimacing, struggling against Felix. He shook his head at me but I ignored him.

“Stop Bella!” Alice said. Jane whispered something in her ear and she went slack. I panicked as Jane’s hands tightened around her neck, about to pull. I couldn’t believe Aro was letting this happen! I looked around frantically, trying to decide what to do. I suddenly spotted a sharp rock and knew what I had to do. I picked it up quickly and slid it down my arm. Immediately blood poured from the wound and I started panting. Every head turned to me and every member of the Volturi hissed at me. Jane let go of Alice straight away and lunged at me, as did Felix and Alec. I stood there scared out of my mind as my blood poured down my arm. Alice was suddenly at my side hissing at them and the rest of the Cullen family ran to my side as well. Jane and Alec were staring intently at me and hissing.

“Enough!” Finally Aro shouted. Everyone froze and he walked towards Jane and Alec and flung them to the side like they were nothing. His eyes were glued to mine and they were a dark red. He licked his lips.

“Your blood smells amazing.” He suddenly grabbed my arm and Alice hissed loudly, ready to attack. I winced at his cold touch. He sniffed deeply and I could see something snap in his eyes and suddenly, so fast I didn’t see it coming, he bit my arm and started sucking. My blood was quickly draining from my body, and my sight became hazy. I collapsed to the floor my breathing shallow. Aro was looming above me with my crimson blood on his lips. I heard a loud roar and Emmett and Edward were attacking him. Jane and Alec joined in and Carlisle tried to intervene. Alice leaned over me, panicked. I was dying, I could feel it. My heart was slowing and my head was hazy. I almost couldn’t hear or see. Marcus, Caius and Felix dragged Aro, Jane and Alec off with difficulty. Edward and Emmett leaned in front of me in a protective stance, hissing at the Volturi.

“Carlisle! I don’t know what to do!” Alice yelled. My eyes were slowly closing. “No! You stay away Bella. Stay awake!” I fought my eyes but it was a losing battle.

“Alice, you’ve seen it. You know what’s going to happen.” Carlisle said grimly. Alice nodded and took a deep breath, biting my arm. Again and again she bit me, across my shoulders, on my chest, my stomach and my legs. I screamed my whole body was on fire!

“We’re leaving. I apologise for Aro’s irrational behaviour.” Marcus said his voice penetrating the haze I was in.

“We’ll be back! The Volturi don’t give second chances.” Jane said, her voice seeming to be right in my ear.

And then I blacked out.
