Chapter 2

They all started whispering.

"What do you think there whispering about?" I ask my sister

"Probably your bed hair." She laughs

"Oh my god."

I walk over to the car and look in the side mirror. My hair looked like a fluff ball!

I tried combing it out with my fingers but that just made it worse!

I sighed in defeat and pulled a hairband off my wrist and put it into a side braid.

When I walked back over to where I was, my sister was gone. I heard someone hollering my name from across the street. I looked over and saw my sister waving me to come over there.

"Hi, I'm Maddison." I say reaching out and shaking everyone's hand

After I got done shaking hands I stand off to the corner awkwardly as my sister flirts with everyone.

Hayes starts to walk towards me and I get really nervous.

Hayes's POV

All the magcon boys and I were outside playing basketball when a nice car pulled up into the driveway of the house across the street. No one has lived there for about 2 years now.

We all watched as the people got out. A mom, dad, a cute girl that looked around the age of 16-18 and then the most beautiful girl I have ever seen! She looked to be around my age. She had long straight black hair with big hazel eyes, she was a little shorter than me and pretty slim. She was stunning.

All the boys start whispering "dibs" but that never really means anything. The older one starts walking towards us and introduces herself. But I zone out looking for the other girl. Finally I see her start to walk over and I get excited.

She introduces herself as Maddison while shaking everyone's hand.

After she shakes everyone's hand she stands off to the side.

I start to walk over to her and I can tell she's getting nervous.

"Hey." I say

"Hi." She says back

"So, you guys are moving into that house?" I say pointing at her new house

"Sure am." She replied smiling

Damn she's got a nice smile

"I like your smile." I say

"Thanks." She says blushing

"How old are you?" I ask

"14."

"No way, me to."

"Cool." She laughs

"What grade are you in?" I ask

"8th."

"So I guess you'll be in my class." I say

"Uhm, my teachers name is Mr Devine." She says

"Yup that's my class." I smile

"I can show you around on the first day if you would like?" I ask

"That would be great." She smiles

Maddison's POV

Hayes freaking Grier just said he liked my smile!! Omg I cannot even comprehend what is happening right now!! I tried to act cool in front of him, but I think he noticed I was a little nervous.

My mom yelling mine and Emilee's name brought me out of my thoughts.

"Emilee, Maddison.. Come unpack your stuff."

"Coming." Me and Emilee say in unison

"I'll see you later." I say to hayes

"Wait, here's my number." Hayes says handing me a piece of paper.

I smile and run off towards the house

Maybe moving won't be as bad as I thought.
