Chapter 12

Maddison's P.O.V

I can't believe hayes would do something like that. I know he was just a little kid but he still should've known better.

"Are you and hayes gonna...breakup"? Olivia ask me

"I don't know, why". I ask

"Just wondering". She says with a smirk on her face

"Thanks for standing up for me Maddison". Maddie says

"No problem, listen guys I better be getting home". I say

"Alright bye". Maddie says

Olivia waves goodbye and I walk out.

I'm almost home when a bunch of guys start whistling at me.

"I'm not in the mood creeps". I scream at them

"Oh look boys, we've got a feisty one". The ring leader says

The boys walk over to me and start crowding around me.

"I've already been in one fight today, I don't want to get in another". I say balling my fist up

The boys look around at each other and bust out in laughter.

"Sweetie you wouldn't lay a finger on me". The ring leader said

"Oh yeah". I say getting closer to him

"Yeah". He smirks

I haul off and kick him right in the "bad area".

He falls to the ground and I take that opportunity to run.

I run to the closest place I think off.
Hayes' house.

I run for about 5 mins then I stop to take a break. I look around to see if the boys had followed me. Thank god they hadn't, I couldn't run anymore. Luckily hayes' house was just around the corner.

I got back up and started to walk. I finally arrived at hayes' house and I knocked on the door.

"Maddison, what are you doing here"? Nash ask

"Can I just please come in, it's been a longggggggg day". I say

"Sure". He says motioning me in

I sit down on the couch to catch my breath.

"Have you been running"! He laughs

"Does it look like it". I laugh

"Just a little". He laughs again

"So, why'd you come here? Hayes is at football practice". He says

"Hayes is the last person I want to see right now". I groan

"What did he do". He ask

I tell him the whole story and he gasps.

"I can't believe he would do something like that". Nash says

"I couldn't either". I said

"But let's not talk about hayes right now". I add

Nash nods and scoots closer.

"I really like talking to you". Nash says

"I like talking to you to. I feel like you and I are closer than me and hayes". I say

He smiles.

"Hayes should be here any minute, you better get going". Nash says

"Yeah, I guess I should". I say standing up

"It's been nice talking to you". Nash says leaning down for a hug

"You to". I smile still hugging him

Nash raises back up and looks into my eyes.

He starts coming closer and closer and closer till finally his soft lips reach mine. And this time, I knew it wasn't a dream. It was real life and I was loving every second of it.

I knew what I had to do. I had to break up with hayes.

Now the title is making a little sense..lol
