Chapter 8

Maddison's P.O.V

"It was just a dream". I said to myself

I jumped out of bed to call hayes and tell him about my horrible dream.

"RING RING RING" I hear my phone buzz in my ear.

"Hello". I hear a sleepy hayes say

"Hayes, I had a nightmare. Can you come over"? I whisper into my phone

"Yeah baby, I'll be over in a second". Hayes says

"Thanks". I say jumping back into bed and hanging up

I sit and wait for hayes. Finally after about 5 mins I hear a tap on my window. I walk over to my window and open it.

Hayes stumbles in and I hug him. He hugs back.

"Baby, was it that bad"? He questions

"It was pretty bad". I say with watery eyes

"Do you want to talk about it"? He questions

I nod my head up and down and we sit down on my bed.

"Please don't get mad at me when I tell you this hayes". I look into his bright blue eyes

"Why would I get mad? It was just a dream"? He says back

"So, it starts off as me and....nash...making...out". I say slowly

He looks at me with wide eyes and motions me to go on.

"Then you find out and I apologize and stuff like that then you start to come over to my house". I get watery eyes

"Then what". He said

"Then you get hit by a car, and die". I say tears coming out of my eye

"Baby, it was just a dream". He says rubbing my back

"I know but it felt so real". I cry into his chest

"I just don't wanna loose you". I add

"I'm not going anywhere". He says lifting up my chin and staring into my eyes

He leans down and kisses me passionately.

"I feel better now". I laugh

He just laughs and lays down next to me.

"Want me to spend the night"? He ask

"Please"? I say barely above a whisper

He puts his arm around me and I snuggle up to his side.

"I wish we could stay like this forever". Hayes says kissing my forehead

"Me too". I say and close my eyes

I woke up and hayes was gone. I grabbed my phone to see if I had any texts or missed calls.

I had one text from hayes.

From hayes: Hey baby! Sorry I had to leave this morning. Remember? Today's the day school starts back! I'll meet you outside in 1 hour. Be ready!😘

Oh my god! I totally forgot about school starting today! Hayes sent that text 20 minutes ago, that means I only have 40 to get ready!

I jumped out of bed really quick and ran to my bathroom. I turned on the shower and waited till it was just right. After about 20 minutes I jumped out and blow dried and straightened my hair to perfection. I walked over to my closet and picked out the perfect outfit.
A blue and white striped shirt, my white high waisted shorts, and my blue sandals.

I grabbed my bookbag and ran downstairs. The scent of waffles filled the air. I see my mom and sister sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Looks like somebody decided to get up". My mom smirks

"Yeah yeah. Where's dad at"? I question them

"He had go to work this morning". My sister says

I just nod and grab a apple and start walking towards the door.

"Aren't you going to eat"? My mom ask

"This apple will do until lunch". I say

"Okay sweetie well, I love you and have a good day at school". My mom smiles

"Love you too". I say walking out of the door

I turn around and see hayes sitting on his swing across the street.

I walk to the sidewalk and wave him over.

"What took you so long"? Hayes questions

"I woke up late". I say taking a bite of my apple

"Oh". Is all he says

"How far away is this school anyway"? I question

"Just around the block". He says back

*At school*

Hayes' P.O.V

Maddison and I walk into school hand in hand. Everybody is staring at us.
The girls are staring because there jealous, and the boys are staring because Maddison is smoking hot.

"I hear a bunch of whistles come from a group of boys while we walk past them. Maddison just smiles and moves on. But I turn around and give them the death stare. They put there hands up in defense and I move on.

Looks like I'm gonna have some competition.
