Chapter 28

Maddison's P.O.V

I raise up real quick.

Where am I?

I look down, I have a hospital gown on and Ivy's hooked into my arm.

"What the hell", I say to myself

I grab my head. Dang it hurts. My knees are scrapped too.

I start to feel woozy, I need to lay back down.

"Ms Maddison, nice to see you finally awake". A man with a beard says

He's carrying some papers.

"Why am I here"? I ask

"Don't your remember"? He ask me

"Well obviously not". I say in a smart tone

"No need to get grouchy ms". He says looking at the papers

"Sorry". I say looking down

"Apology accepted, grab the back of your head". He says

"Okay"? I say hesitant

"Does it hurt"? He ask

"Yeah". I say

"Want me to tell you why"? He ask

I nod my head.

"Okay, you and a bunch of friends were having a pool party. Someone that goes by the name of jack johnson threw you in the pool. You went running after him and slid. You cut the back if your head open and you had to get stitches". He says

"Jack? Pool party? What?". I say confused

"I'll be back". He says and walks out

After about 5 mins some really cute boy walks in.

"Maddison, baby are you okay"? The boy ask

"Baby"? I question

"Maddison what's wrong"? He ask

"Uhm, I don't talk to strangers". I say

"I'm your boyfriend? I'm not a stranger. Maddison stop whatever you're doing it's not funny". He says with a straight face

"You are not my boyfriend, I don't even know your name!" I say

His eyes start watering.

"Hayes". He says and looks right into my eyes

"What"? I ask confused

"My name is hayes nice to meet you". Hayes says extending out his hand

"Dude you are all kinds of cray cray". I say shaking his hand

He smiles a little.

"Maybe a little". He says

"Maybe a LOT". I emphasize the word lot

Suddenly the doctor walks in.

"Hayes may I speak with you a minute"? He ask pulling hayes out of the room

Hayes P.O.V

"I'm afraid we have a problem". The doctor says

"She's lost her memory". I say quick

"How did you know"? He ask

"She didn't know who I was". I say

"You better go tell your friends and take them in there one by one to see if she can gain her memory back". He says

"Okay". I say and turn on my heels to walk away

But the doctor grabs me by the shoulder

"And whatever you do, don't force all of this on her". He says

I nod and start to walk away
