Flare returned to the mansion after she got better and she raises an eyebrow at the mess "Did a bomb go off or something?" she asks and Sebastian sighs "I'm afraid Lady Elizabeth is arguing with the young master" he says earning a confused look "About you" the demon says and the two come downstairs "Sebastian, find Flare's family history" Ciel says and he turns to his youngest servant "Go help Bard in the kitchen with lunch" "Alright" Flare says and she walks to the kitchen, Lizzy follows her and Sebastian asks "So, how did it go?" "Lizzy isn't convinced Flare fits in here, so she's staying a week to see for herself" Ciel says, they hear yelling and someone being thrown out of the kitchen "And that was Bard with his flamethrower" Lizzy says sulking "She kicked me out too". They eat lunch and Lizzy is hesitating to take a bite "Come on Lizzy, she knows how to cook" Ciel says and he adds "So unless you want to disrespect the chef I suggest you at least try it", Flare looks down and whispers to Sebastian "Maybe it's better for me to go ahead and do some shopping" "I agree" Sebastian says and Flare bows "Ci- Young Master I'll be going ahead to town and get some food we ran out of" she says and walks of. Ciel looks at Flare as Sebastian hands her some money before she leaves "Lizzy, someone asked me to take her in, Sebastian taught her everything she knows and if you plan to make her feel like she's not welcome anymore then you can leave" he says taking another bite "So eat or you won't get anything at all" he adds.

In town Flare finishes buying everything on the list and she passes a jewelry store and she checks the list again "Protective charm?" she asks and heads to the Undertaker first to drop of her bags for a bit "I'll leave these here for a while" she says and leaves again. At the store she goes in and sighs "Charms..." she mumbles and walks to the counter "Excuse me" she says and the man turns around "This way for the protective charms" he says leading her to the back "What charm do you want?" he asks and looks at Flare "I suggest you get one to protect yourself from angels, you can fend of demons and reapers if needed" he says and opens a box "And you get a special discount" "Thanks uncle, how about these two?" she asks pointing to a ring and a bracelet "It's a pair, let me wrap them up for you".

She arrives back at the mansion carrying the bags and the small package and she finds Bard with Finny and Sebastian "Sebastian I'm back" she says and he takes the bags "Why did you want me to buy a protective charm?" she asks and Sebastian says "The young master tends to get in more trouble the needed" "I got two, an uncle of mine owns the jewelry store" Flare says holding the package "I'll bring it to Ciel". She knocks on the door if the study and she hears Ciel say "Come in", inside she hands him the small box and she takes a few steps back so Lizzy has no reason to glare at her "It's a protective charm against angels" she explains and Ciel nods understanding "Is that one for me?" Lizzy asks seeing the bracelet and Ciel says "No it isn't, Flare come here", Flare walks over and Ciel says "This one is for you", he hands her the bracelet and adds "And Lizzy, the bracelet wouldn't match with most of your clothes". Flare mumbles a 'thank you' before leaving again and the second she closes the door Lizzy starts yelling, so Flare decides to help Sebastian in the kitchen "Why does Lizzy hate me all of the sudden?" she asks earning a sigh from the demon "She believes the young master has feelings for you" he says and adds "But I'm afraid that's true" "It can't happen Sebastian, I'm a half vampire" Flare says looking down "I saw you got some info on the next case too" Sebastian says and Flare says "Yeah, my dad thinks he'll need it". When Sebastian serves dinner Ciel asks "Where's Flare?" "She didn't want to make lady Elizabeth uncomfortable so she went ahead to her room" Sebastian explain earning a sigh "Keep an eye on her" Ciel says, he didn't want her leaving the mansion. When Lizzy is finally in bed Flare and Sebastian head to the garden to take a walk "Can't believe Lizzy wants me gone" Flare says looking down and she nearly trips over one of the garden tools and the two hear someone in the distance. They hide when they're close enough and see Ciel doing something "Are we really seeing this?" Sebastian whispers earning a nod from Flare, so he walks over "Young master, what are you doing outside at this hour?" he asks and Ciel says "Planting something, I saw a weird red flower and asked if they had some seeds, they only had one though", Flare quietly walks over and she asks "What kind of seed?" "Flare don't scare me like that" Ciel says but he's lightly pushed away "You're doing it wrong" she says and sighs as she scans the area "Why such a big open area though?" she asks as the three head back inside "Goodnight you two" Flare says and she sighs looking at Ciel, but feels eyes on her "Please refrain from doing such a thing again, you have servants for a reason" she says and heads upstairs, passing Lizzy who shoots her a glare "I will make him fire you" the blonde hisses earning a simple shrug and a 'Go ahead and try'. The week didn't get any better and at day 5 Flare was bringing Lizzy and Ciel their tea when Lizzy makes Flare trip and the tea spills on Ciel "Look how clumsy you are" Lizzy says and Flare gets up "You tripped me" she says and before Ciel can say something, since he hadn't seen what happened, Sebastian says "Lady Elizabeth please refrain from doing that again" "Lizzy why do you want her gone so badly?" Ciel asks and he helps Flare up "Sebastian clean this up" he says and Lizzy pouts "She's gonna steal you away!" The blonde yells and neither sees or hears the half vampire leave the room to get changed since she got some tea on her clothes as well. However she's being watched by someone who looks exactly like her, but holding a death scythe.
