Isa and doc blood are making a cure, but that could take a while and Silviana isn't sure they have that long with the smell around the mansion "I'm surprised there's one vampire completely unaffected" Dracula says, but Isa shakes her head "Even Flare is affected, she's feeling terrible, but she has her human side to help out, but that can't help her forever since she's young" "I think I got it, we need a test subject" doc Blood says "I'll do it" "Flare it could have side-" "And I am very close to losing control over my vampire side, just do it before I do something I regret". They wait for about half an hour and Flare's eyes stop glowing "I think it's working?" she asks and doc Blood checks her fangs "It's working your fangs are getting shorter, strange" he mumbles "What's wrong with my face? Is there dirt on it?" "No, your eyes, they're red", this earns him a confused look "Red? Thought they were orange" she says "And I don't feel any different".

The next morning Isa wakes Ciel and she raises an eyebrow seeing bandage around his wrist "Did she bite you?" Isa asks "How can you tell?" he counters "This is her handiwork, but why?" "Don't ask me, she came in when I was reading a book, said she was feeling horrible, although different from before, her eyes kept switching between glowing and not glowing, why were they red?" "It seems while giving her the cure it supressed her human side because it only worked on her vampire side, I think she bit you because it was the only way she knew she could stop the pain of her conflicting halves, granted it was the only way, good news is, remember those vampires that had been eying you?" "How could I not?" Ciel asks taking the clothes he's handed "They'll leave you alone now, same with pretty much every vampire that has the intention to bite you".

Breakfast is somewhat awkward and Flare scan the servants as they move around and she tilts her head seeing one leave "Excuse me for a minute" she says getting up and speeding off catching up with the human quite easily "Dining room is that way. Your master is talking with my grandmother, so please go back before I escort you back myself" "My master has given me an important task before breakfast" "Burn the harmful herbs, I know, please return to the dining room", instead of following him she searches the room "Well well well" Sebastian says "Didn't think sneaking around was one of your traits" "I have to with my job" she says handing him the bag "I'll be finishing breakfast now".

"Well I guess that was interesting" Ciel says while stretching "Hm, sure" Flare says "Next time however" she adds glaring at her grandmother "We will not host a dinner party" she adds "It wasn't my idea" Silviana says "Not mine either" Dracula says "It doesn't matter who came with the idea, we're not doing it again" Flare says "It's weird" Ciel says earning a confused look "You've had orange eyes since the day I met you, seeing them red is just weird" "Eh, seeing Sebastian glare at me is weird too, but give it a few days and they'll be orange again" she says "Sebastian stop glaring" Ciel says "But young master-" "It's fine, stop glaring".

Ciel sighs as he sits in his study later that evening writing his report, it wasn't needed, but he was doing it out of habit "Why did you glare at her?" he asks hearing his ever faithful butler enter the room "Because a vampire can get in the way of our contract young master, she can turn you" "She won't" Ciel says "Besides, what was I supposed to do? Let her suffer?" "You could've discussed it" Sebastian says "You two, it is no good for the young master to argue with the head butler" Tanaka says "Nor should the head butler be questioning his masters choices" he adds "Now you have a visitor" "CIEL~" Lizzy yells running in "I heard you went to a dinner party without me" "Elizabeth" Ciel says trying to get out of the hug "You would've been bored out of your mind" he says "Besides, we ran into some trouble with the weather" he adds.

It's about a week later that they see Flare again, her eyes indeed back to orange "I'm telling you Isa, you can't go looking like that" she says "Flare, what are you up to now?" Ciel asks "Well I am trying to get Isa in formal clothes" she says "Sebastian, can you give your opinion on Isa's outfit?" "What's the setting?" "Well the count is holding a ball, so I'm trying to get her in a formal dress and before you say that her usual outfit looks formal, it isn't" "I think the color suits her perfectly" Sebastian says and Flare grins seeing her best friend blush "Well I guess this dress is doable" she says and Flare turns back to Ciel "What brings you here?" "The queen is sending me on a mission, I need clothes that fit the area" he says "Would that area be the haunted woods?" Isa asks walking over carrying the dress "Yes" Sebastian says "I didn't realize we needed special clothes" Flare says looking mildly confused "In her letter she stated that black clothes would fit the best" "Ah that explains it, I have plenty of those, well we shall leave you to it" Flare says walking to the counter and Isa bows before following "Has she always done these jobs?" Ciel asks "It appears she took over from her grandmother when she started living home" Sebastian says glaring at the vampire "You really think she would get in the way of the contract?" Ciel asks quietly "I am more worried about what you will choose young master" "What is that supposed to mean?" Ciel asks "You will find out in time" the demon says before walking over to someone who can help them and Ciel looks at the two vampires who leave the shop, he probably knew what it meant, no he knew exactly what it means, before Flare came into his life he hadn't cared about anything but his revenge, but Flare could have the exact same attitude towards the demons and angel that hurt her family, but she doesn't, he had asked her why that was once and she had answered "I wanted to, before I realized that the best revenge I could give them was to live my life, changed by what happened, but not too much, you should try it once, it's better then brooding the entire time, go on, smile", he had, and when he did he realized that Flare is a point of light in the dark path he has taken.
