Reaper trouble

"That party was fun" Flare hums while sitting in the Undertaker's shop, she had visited the reaper Halloween party "You made Grell drool all over you, well himself" Undertaker says and he hands her a gift "Now this this can cut anything, besides a death scythe, Will doesn't know I still have your mother's weapon" he says and Flare opens it "Mom's scythe?" she asks "She left it with me before she died" Undertaker says "And well, we never tested if it can cut a death scythe" "She said it can" Flare says making it smaller and it turns into a necklace "Well I'm pretty sure the Earl will be looking for you" "No, I told him I would stay with my grandmother and then visit you" Flare says stretching. She goes back the next evening and she hands Sebastian some pictures "Here, William thought you should have these for all the trouble Grell has caused you" she says and Sebastian looks at them before he chuckles "You dressed up as him?" Ciel asks earning a nod "What? I was tired of having to think of new things for each party, so I got all my red clothes and had to change a few times before it was perfect. William wasn't having it that anyone was wearing a coat, so I took it to finish up my outfit" Flare says and she smiles slightly "Sure he was pissed I took it before seeing what I was wearing. William let me wear the coat for the rest of the night too" "So did you try dressing up as a demon once?" Ciel asks earning a nod "William freaked out, I got grounded by the Undertaker for that stunt but it was totally worth it" Flare says "It helped my natural eye color is orange".

During a chess game Ciel notices the necklace "Mom's scythe, the reapers couldn't find it, seems she left it with the Undertaker" she explains "One of the most deadly weapons along with a death scythe, a good death scythe" she adds "Of course when the reapers get wind of what the fact I have it they will come back for it, mom forged it herself long ago". The chess game continues and they hear someone falling through the window "I said quietly" William says making the young half vampire frown "Sorry, but it's not like we'd get in without being noticed anyway" Ronald says causing Ciel and Flare look at each other before looking over to their personal servants, who are each ready to kill the reapers "Stand down Isabella/Sebastian" they say "What brings you here?" Ciel asks and he groans when Flare says "Checkmate, I think" "You did win" Ciel says checking the board "Grell told us you have your mother's weapon" William says and Grell comes from behind a bookcase "Even if I did" Flare starts looking at the three reapers "You wouldn't get it" she finishes her sentence "How would Grell know anyway?", the reapers leave and Ciel sighs "Let's play another game of chess" he says.

The reapers are getting annoyed with the fact they have no proof that Flare has the scythe "It belonged to her mother, we should leave it alone" William says "After all, it's all that's left of her parents" "But William" Grell says "That thing's dangerous" "And you are to leave the matter alone, go back to obsessing over the demon or something" William says "How am I supposed to do that when he's watching over Flare and Ciel the entire-", he's gone when William turns around and the reaper sighs "This can't be good".

"This place is awesome!" Lizzy yells standing on the bridge "I didn't know the stars could be so bright" Flare says sitting next to the blonde haired girl "Me neither" Lizzy says "Are you two coming or not?" Ciel asks "We're fine here!" Flare yells towards the two "We have the best view anyway" Lizzy mumbles "Depends" Grell says making the two move back "On what?" Lizzy asks "If you're on top of the bridge or under it" Grell says and he cuts the bridge is half, however Flare jumps over him, grabs Lizzy and jumps off the bridge, landing roughly near Ciel and Sebastian "What'd we do to that psycho?" Lizzy asks helping Flare up "Don't laugh, but he has an obsession with Sebastian" Ciel says running over to the two "That's hilarious" Lizzy says before she starts laughing and Flare follows soon after, she knew it, but hearing Ciel say it so casually makes it hilarious "Isa, please switch with Sebastian" she says but a death scythe her way catches her attention so she blocks it with her own "You know you could've asked" she says narrowing her eyes "And you're not getting it" "What do you mean?" Grell asks "Didn't I tell you to leave the matter alone" William says dragging Grell backwards "Sorry for the mess" he says "Don't mind it, but I'm keeping the weapon" "It is yours now anyway, if you'll excuse me, I have to punish this idiot".

Flare sighs as she looks at the stars while Lizzy and Ciel are laying on the ground a bit away from her, so she walks over to Isabella "Take me home" she says quietly "Are you sure?" "I'm only in the way", Sebastian sees the two head off "It seems miss Flare decided to head back early today" he says "Really? I even got some picnic stuff" Lizzy says, but Ciel knows why "I see" he says "We'll invite her again some other day".

Flare isn't surprised to see Ciel at the door of her grandmother's mansion "Shouldn't you be with Lizzy?" "Sebastian is taking her home" Ciel says "Grandma isn't home right now" "I'm here for you" "Oh". They sit in an awkward silence for a few minutes before Ciel asks "Why do you think you're in the way?" "You and Lizzy are supposed to marry, I already got between you two, but I see how you're acting around her, I'm not blind, she has no intentions of calling it off and you won't either, besides, each day I spend around you it's getting harder to control my vampire's half need for blood" Flare says looking down "You should go, Sebastian's here to pick you up" "Come visit the manor" Ciel says standing up and he earns a smile. When Flare has the door closed she leans against it as tears form in her eyes, it was for the best like this "Let's get you to bed" Isabella says walking over "You did the right thing" "Then why doesn't it feel like the right thing?" Flare asks as she heads upstairs with her best vampire friend.
