Chapter Fourteen

“Are you ready sunshine?” I heard Kevin calling me from the kitchen.

“Just a minute.” I answered with anticipation to start this day with him.

Minutes later I get out of my bedroom wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue jeans with a matching scarf around my neck and of course a white converse as advised.

Kevin is now wearing a pair of light blue jeans, black t-shirt and a light jacket with black converse as well, where did he get these clothes from? He looks carefree and so casual, although I preferred him in his grey suit he was wearing the first time I saw him, oh what am I talking about! He looks so damn sexy in whatever he wore.

“We’ll take my car?” I asked him knowing that last night he wasn’t driving his.

“Barney brought my car while you were showering.” He snapped. That explains as well the clean casual clothes he is wearing now.

I really like his car, in fact it was my second choice when I was buying my BMW. His convertible black Camaro is such a turn on for me.

“I see you are drooling for my car more than for me.” He teased seeing me admiring the gorgeous black vehicle.

“Are you jealous of a car Mr. Jacobs?” I asked teasing back.

“Jealous of anything you look at for more than 2 seconds my lady.” He replied smiling the sweetest smile ever.

When did this all happen? When did he become so into me? What have I missed? I know that my feelings for him have been growing since our encounter in my office when he first came to NY offices, could it be the same for him?

We drove for thirty minutes and finally arrived to what looked to me like a ranch: it has a stable, a house with a vast green area, it is nothing fancy or sophisticated, on the contrary it is a simple, small house yet so cozy and heartwarming.

We pulled the car and were greeted by an old man and a dog.

“My dearest Kevin! What a surprise” the man said as he opened his arms and pulled Kevin into a hug.

“Uncle Fitz, it is so nice to see you again!” Kevin replied hugging the old man back.

“Uncle Fitz I want to introduce you to a very dear friend of mine, Tania Crown, Tania this is my uncle Fitz Blake.” Kevin introduced me to his uncle.

“Nice to meet you Mr.Blake” I said smiling.

“Oh please call me Fitz” he said as he pulled me into a tight hug.

We walked towards the blue house; I wonder what is this place and what are we doing here?

“Is aunt Lydia here?” Kevin asked Fitz.

“Oh yes, she is inside, she would be so happy to see you especially that you brought a pretty lady with you, but she might shout at you for not giving her enough time to cook you your favorite meal” Fitz replied as they both laughed.

“What is your favorite meal?” I asked Kevin as we entered the house.

“The most delicious thing on earth, ribs, but not any ribs, Aunt Lydia’s ribs with the very special sauce, we’ll eat it here someday.”

“If you called before becoming here you would have ate it now” we were interrupted by an old lady, a very sweet old lady whom I assume is aunt Lydia.

“Oh here she is, I have missed you so much” Kevin hugged her so tight and kissed her on her forehead. Seeing him acting like this makes me feel so happy, getting to know him like this is just amazing. I walked towards them to introduce myself.
