Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5:

We've finally arrived at the hotel and as soon as Maya parked the car we both grabbed our bags and rushed inside. Not because we're excited but mostly because we're exhausted and we're ready to get some sleep. It's been a long day for the both of us. With the crazy morning and unhappy car ride we both need to get some sleep. I haven't really thought about this much but since Maya and Matt are great friends I bet she has Matt's number, and Matt would have Carter's!!

"MAYA!!!" I scream. "What?! Is everything alright?!" she sounded very concerned. "Yes! of course," I beamed, "you have Matt's number right?" She giggled "of course I have Matt's number, why?" I stared at her for a couple minutes then finally said "please, please, please ask Matt to give you Carter's number then give it to me!" she smirked "okay you little creep." We both laughed.

20 minutes later Matt replied then gave her the number then she gave it to me. It took me awhile to gather myself and text him, but I finally did it.

"Hey Carter, it's Haylei, I was wondering if we could get together sometime and get to know each other a bit better."

I was 11:25 pm, what was I thinking texting him this late when he has Magcon soon? Hah, I'm just your average fangirl.

"Well I'm going to sleep Maya, hope you and your "boyfriend" have a nice time." I giggled and she punched my arm and laughed. "Goodnight you little shithead."
