Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7:

It's now 5:00 o'clock and Maya just woke me up to tell me it's almost time for my date with carter. I started panicking because I didn't know what to wear or what to do with my hair. I decided to go with something cute but casual so I put on a floral skit, with a white mid sleeve shirt, my bangle bracelets and white vans. (I don't leave without a pair of vans or converse.) Maya fixed my hair for me, it was this cute side braid and the rest was straight. She also did my makeup, she went with the natural look.

After all of that was done it was 5:45. I thanked Maya for all the help and hugged her.

I heard a knock at the door. It was Carter. My heart raced. I felt my cheeks get hot. "You ready to go?" he asked. "Yes." I replied shyly.

We ate at Red Lobster and watched Ride Along. This was only my third date I've ever been on, I'm still getting used to it. But out of the three, this was the best. We talked about our likes and dislikes at dinner, we cuddled at the movies. It's like this was just a dream and a fantasy right in front of me. But it's unbelievable how real this is.

"I had a great time with you tonight." he said sweetly. I blushed, "I had a great time too. Thank you for everything!" He stared at me for awhile then grabbed my hand and took me for a walk. It was the cutest thing. I almost cried. After we went for a walk we got in his car and he drove me back to the hotel and walked me up to my room.

"I loved getting to know you," he said, "I really would like to do something like this again. I feel like you actually like me for me and not my stardom." That was true because on the date I forgot he was famous.. I forgot that I didn't reply so quickly I said "Thank you again for everything, I would also love to do this again." He kissed me goodbye and said he'll see me tomorrow at Magcon.

I couldn't wait.

Maya was there the whole time just watching it happen. After I shut the door and turned around smiling she awed.

"That was so adorable! I ship Caylei, it's my new OTP." Maya winked at me. I giggled "Maya don't be silly, it was just one date." Maya rolled her eyes, "HE KISSED YOU, ON THE FIRST DATE!!" I blushed. "See Haylei, I told you. Caylei is my new OTP."

"Okay Maya, I'm going to sleep now. We have a long day tomorrow. I'm sure you want to get some sleep too so you can see MATT" I teased. She rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at me. "Whatever you little brat," she giggled, "goodnight."
