Fear Itself [ A Shoey Fanfic ]

i had to get out there and pursue my dream, and that certainly wasn't going to happen here, in this small house shared by two people, best friends may i add.

i set my alarm on my phone to a quiet song. set for 2:25 am so i could get out before they noticed.

the alarm woke me a

minute early. i rubbed my eyes sleepily. i got up and walked over to my backpack, grabbed my leather jacket and through it on.

i took a couple pillows from the tan couch and piled them on top of each other and placed the fuzzy baby-blue blanket Joey gave me over the lump to make it some-what realistic to what i look like, just to throw them off a little.

i sat down in the chair next to where the couch was. i should probably make a couple snoring noises to make it sort of believable, right?

i closed my eyes, just expecting to rest my eyes, making the "pretend" snoring noises.

i woke up an hour later, my mind foggy and eyesight horrid. i checked my phone: Ꭲime: 3:25. oh my god. how had it become so late?!

i flew up from the chair and marched quietly to the door, still kind of blurry. i slammed it shut with a mighty thrust and then threw the other strap of my backpack over my shoulder.

i crossed my arms and shivered as i walked down the dark Los Angeles street. a few street lamps where on so that helped the light.

i just couldn't help myself. i couldn't stop thinking about those amazing blue eyes and amazing face i had just left behind.

a couple hours later as i made it to the main road, the sun began to rise. with beautiful shades of red, yellow, and deep purples. i checked my phone Ꭲime: 5:36

i sighed and placed my iPhone back in my pocket. the street lights began to turn off, and i was forced to sit down by the street corner to wait for more light.

"i wonder if Starbucks is open this early..."

i muttered quietly to myself.

i felt so bad for leaving Joey, but what else could i have done?
