Fear Itself [ A Shoey Fanfic ]

I stood bewildered.

Shane, gone?! no. this can't be happening. it's not right!

i jumped into the car, putting the key in the ignition, but not starting the car.
I was pondering. where could he have gone?!

i started the car and zoomed off down the street, my mind set on Shane the whole drive windy drive.

winding roads. 20 minutes later, im home, tears streaming down my red face, as i was sobbing at the red lights.

as i walked up to the door, defeated, i saw a man sitting on Sawyer's porch with his face in his sweaty palms.

it was Shane. i was almost certain of it.

"Shane! Shane is that you?"

he picked his head up as i called his name, big red indents and marks where his palms and fingers marked his face.

i slowly embraced him tightly, beginning to cry again as i grabbed onto his gray t-shirt.

"don't scare me ever again."

i muttered to him, grabbing his hand and pulling him in the house.

i sat him down on the squishy couch, leaning back on the arm with Hitch in my lap.

"tell me everything."

and so he did.
