"Umm..a theatre?"Delly asked hesitantly
Her aunt nodded.
"Logan and I run this place every winter for the kids who want to come.Its residential and the cost isn't too extravagant.Lets go in."
Her aunt grabbed Dellys case and strode towards the theatre.
"Delly,we have three rules:You've got to perform,no bulling,physical or otherwise and you've gotta have fun!Think you can stick to them?"
Delly nodded."Yup!Where am I sleeping?"
Her aunt led her up some stairs and into a room with four beds.all of them lay bare.
"You're in with the late comers.They haven't arrived yet so..pick your bed!"
Delly glanced around.
"That one."she pointed towards the one with a wardrobe next to the bed.
Her aunt smiled and started helping her put her clothes away and make up her bed.
Halfway through the chore a girl came into the room.
"Hi,I um..I think I'm meant to be here.I'm Eden.Hi."
Delly looked at the girl.She wore a long blue jumper over black legging.Swiping the curly blonde-hair from her eyes she grinned at Delly.
"I'm Delphine.Thats my Aunt.Do you want the bed next to mine?"Delly introduced herself.
Eden nodded and plopped her case on the bed.
"Why don't we go and explore?"
Aunt Caroline stood up and smiled.
"Yes, go and explore girls.Ill sound the gong for dinner.And I'll send the other girls down to you."
"Come on Delphine!"
They rushed out of the room laughing together.
As they walked down a corridor Delphine asked Eden.
"Hey,Eden."
"What is It Delphine?"
"Have you been here before?I mean you seem to know everywhere...wow!"
Delly paused and pushed open a door.They stepped out onto a stage where a spotlight promptly turned on.
"Lets act!"cried Eden.
Delphine nodded.
They acted out a bit from Harry Potter and at the end took bows to a silent audience.When they heard clapping they looked up.A boy,stood there on the auditorium steps clapping.
"That was AWESOME!"then the boy saw how confused they were."Sorry I'm Dylan.DylanHardy but my friends all call me Red."
"Why?" Asked Eden suddenly.
Red looked confused."Why what?"
"Why do they call you Red?"
"Oh,no one knew my name for ages because I wouldn't speak.I wore the colour Red all the time.My usual outfit would be a red shirt and red jeans.People started calling me the Red kid and then it was shortened to Red because it was easier."
"Oh.Im Delphine."
She glanced at Eden.She was staring at Red with drool starting to form.Delly nudged her.Eden blinked And swallowed."I'm Eden."
Red nodded and climbed the hidden steps to the stage.
"May I heave the honour of performing together?"
Delly looked at Red.He waited nervously for their answer.Hed never asked to perform with girls before.To his great relief they glanced at each other and then cried.
"Of course!"enthusiastically.
They spent a while blocking a performance of Alice in wonderland.Then they heard the dinner gong go.
Clang,clang,clang!
They rushed to grab their food and a table.
"I have the best idea!"squeeled Delly.
"What is it?No,wait two questions:does it involve drama and me?"Eden asked happily.
"Yup!We should show Aunt Caroline our performance!"
"Umm..Delphine?At the end of the summer we all have to a performance so why don't we just work extra hard on it and then we can show it to everyone!"
Eden nodded agreeing with Red and they grinned.Delly put her hand in the middle of the table.
"If were going to do it we need to agree on some things.First we can't argue,secondly we can't be shy and thirdly we can't tell anyone.Are you guys in?"Delly asked.She had no idea if they were going to accept the terms or not.
Slowly Eden put her hand over Dellys.
"I think I want to do it."
Red rolled his eyes.
"If she's doing it I'll do it.You guys can't do it on your own!"
He placed his hand on Edens.
"Drama"they cried flinging their hands up into the air.
"When will we practise?"Eden enquired
Red thought."Well we have class everyday till around two and then it's free time.How about then? We can all meet in the theatre!"
"We have class!?"cried Delly.
Red looked at her.
"Yeah,this is a school.Did you not know?"
Delly shrugged.
"Aunt Caroline said that it was a drama school.I thought it meant teaching drama,not maths An stuff!"
Red laughed."You'll get used to it!"
Eden shook her head and stood up from the table.
"Are you guys done yet?Yeah?Lets go rehearse then!"
Aunt Caroline watched as her three favourite pupils rushed out of the dining hall.She didn't know where they were going but she figured it was important.Privately she thought that the friends her niece had picked would help her go far as they were really great actors.
