Although Dylan hadn't been home in years he still had his own room at the house.Robin thought this would be one of the best places to start.
Pushing open the heavy wooden door Robin peered around the door. The room was painted a deep blue and had posters of great actors and films the young child had wanted to go and see tacked up.In the corner of the room a small book shelf sat groaning with the amount and weight of books that it s shelves held.A small blackboard stood, set with chalks and a wet cloth, ready for the complicated equations on the board to be removed.A desk sat against a wall.Sliding onto the chair that must have been huge to the little boy he explored the draws of the desk. One held stationary, one held leather bracelets and the last held nothing but a small book.
Robins eyes widened with glee when he found the book.Lifting it out he set it on the desk.Using the place marker he read the last entry.
"I don't know if Dad and Mummy want me to go this school.I don't know what will happen to Robin when I leave. But I want to go.Its a new life,a chance for a new opportunity and I want to take it.It'll be the first school I go to but I might get a friend or two, which will be good.Im still not sure though.I think Mummy wants me to go because she doesn't like me that much and Dad because I'm a bother to him.It will be good I'm sure of it.I will make the most of it.Im going to look at the leaflet I hid at the back of this book again.I leave on Tuesday. This will be my last entry."
Robin read it once and then he flipped to the back of the book where a curling leaflet sat in a soft leather pocket.
Grey stone Manner.
Walking back to his room Robin kept the name swirling round his mind.He typed it into his keyboard and instantly pictures of a boy called Red showed up.With a little bit more searching Robin found that Red was in fact Dylan and that he had been in loads of different shows.Smiling at his big bros success he clicked on a link.It showed his brother and two girls arm in arm on the stage.Reading a little further into the story he found that the girls were Dylan's best friends. He decided that Delphine looked very serious while Eden looked more playful.
An hour later and Robin had found and printed out loads on Dylan.Hed been in a hundred and seventeen different shows and a number of them had been on the West end.He didn't understand why his mom and dad had never been to see any of his shows but because of the number of shows Robin could see how Red hadn't had any time to write home.In fact,Robin had found out that Red hadn't been home in almost nine years.
Smiling, Robin had the perfect plan.Grabbing his best pen and Robot pad he ran into his bedroom to start writing the first letter.
