Red stood there ,his mouth open.
Eden glanced at him, shook her head and pulled Delly from the ground.
"Are you alright?"she asked worriedly.
Delly nodded silently.
"I'm so so sorry Delly!" Exclaimed Red suddenly.
Delly shook her head.
"Wasn't your fault Red." They stood there awkwardly for a moment.
"Do you guys want to come and meet MY parents?"Eden asked Quickly.
All three friends breath a sigh of relief and follow Eden to her parents who had just arrived.
"Eden!" A boy got out of the car.He wore a brown cowboy hat,worn blue jeans and a red and yellow checked shirt.Over the top of the shirt he had a tan jacket on complete with a sheriffs badge.His hair was brown. Delly couldn't help but think he looked like Woody from Toy Story.
"Danny!"Eden cried throwing her arm around him.He hugged her back and laughed.Red tapped Eden on the shoulder.
"Eden,who is this?"
Eden smacked her forehead.
"Sorry guys,I completely forgot.This is my older brother Danny.He doesn't live with me and my parents because he's all grown up."
"Nice to meet you Danny!"Red and Delly exclaimed.The man laughed,his tone as rich and as deep as a black hole.
"Eden,you never told me that you made friends!"he exclaimed."who are they?"
Eden smiled."We should wait for mom and dad first.I don't want to explain a dozen times!"
Danny nodded as two people came up behind them.
"Mom!Dad! I missed you guys!"Eden cried happily.Her mom had long brown hair tied up in a bun.She wore a floaty blue dress that ended around her knees.Her dad had a curly blonde Afro and wore a simple white cord shirt and jeans.
"Eden!Our best girl!Come here!"Her dad picked Eden up and whirled her around.After a few moments he set her down on her feet again.
"I want you to meet my best friends!"Eden said excitedly gesturing to Delly and Red.Her parents looked over at the two other children.
"This is Delly and this is Red!"Eden said pointing to each of her friends.Her mother looked confused."Delly and Red?..."
Delly stepped forward
"Nicknames mam.Im Delphine Carraway and Reds only well Red because he used to wear red all of the time.His real name is Dylan Hardy."
Edens parents smiled.
"Well it's nice to meet you two."
They chatted together for a while before Aunt Caroline came up to them.
"If possible,could I speak to you three alone now please."
Her voice made it clear that she wasn't asking ,more demanding to speak to the children.Delly,Eden and Red looked at each other.They followed the head down into the empty theatre.
"Sit"
The children sat.
"Now,as you know you always come top in tests and lessons in generals.I wanted to tell you that we are going to recommend you to a proper school.One like Beverly Hall that offers scholarships.The test is next week.You should enjoy today and after your performance you should all study as hard as you can.I will give you a mock test so that you can see where you will have to study.It will take place in the dining room after breakfast tomorrow.Do not be late.You will also have an interview and are supposed to give a short monologue of anything you chose."Aunt Carolines face softened.
"You are my best students!I think this would be great for you but you have to work very hard.But I know that you will!I expect great things from you three so Good luck!" She smiled at them."Ahh,I think it's time for the performances to start.You are on second so go and get ready!"
As they ran to the dressing rooms to get changed she whispered
"Break a leg!"
