"Are you sure about this?"
A woman was talking into her phone from her office.
She had short, messy, brown hair, with her fringe tucked behind one ear. She wore simple clothes- a black cardy with a white t-shirt, and long black trousers. But even though it was simple and she was a bit scruffy, she still looked very official.
The person she was talking to was Caroline Carraway, the head of the Young Actors Theatre.
"Delphine, Eden and Dylan are my three best students, and as you want them at your school, I recommend you come to see their performance this afternoon."
The woman sighed "I suppose you're right. As always."
"Of course Tali, always will be."
Tali Anderson, the head of Beverly Hall smiled.
"I know Caroline. See you later then."
Tali put down the phone and smiled once again to herself.

She slammed the car door behind her.
She could see people streaming in through the gates, being greeted by a familiar face.
"Tali" the head mistress called out to her and Tali walked over.
"How are you Caroline?"
"I'm good. A little nervous as one of our pupils parents has just made a scene. But none of that now. The performance is about to start."
The two friends walked over to the reserved seats in the front row and Caroline pointed out the front and centre seat for Tali to sit in, then said her goodbyes and walked towards the stage steps.
"Now you are all very lucky to be here as we have an enormous amount of talent in store for you! It is also going to to be one groups first time performing in front of such a large audience. Now, for our first act, we have a sock opera, performed by Jared, Eliot, Sammy and Bronwyn."
Caroline smiled down at the audience and went to take her seat next to Tali.
Four kids walked on stage with sock puppets on their hands and started singing, but Tali hardly payed them any attention. She was only there for one performance and then she had to get back for an important meeting. She felt bad about it but she knew she responsibilities at the school.
By the time the singing had finally stopped, most people had their hands over their ears, but there was still a massive round of applause.
The kids smiled and left the stage.Caroline appeared again to announce the second act.
"Now ,I have the distinct pleasure of welcoming Dylan,Delphine and Eden onstage to perform a version of Alice in Wonderland. Please enjoy."
Tali sat back and watched as three kids moved around the stage. As she watched the performance she found herself being sucked in to the story line and the characters.Alice was amazing and knowing the other characters were being played by just two other people was amazing. They made each character as real as life and gave each character a personality.Funny bits were funny and involved the audience. By the end of their small sketch her smile stretched from ear to ear.

She stood up and left whispering her thanks to Caroline at the theatre door.
She had a lot to think about.
