Aunt Caroline moved around in her seat. Now there was many more children watching her and listening to her story than just the one child who had asked about the photo of the boy and two girls on the wall.
"What happened to them after that?"Kingsley asked.
Aunt Caroline thought.
"I can't tell you what happened at Beverly hall because I never visited. But it's not the end of the story because every summer all three of them would come and visit me and Felix. But that's another story altogether. But there is one I can tell you.Lotta, can you pass me that box over there."
A little girl no older than nine turned and pointed at a box on the sideboard.
"Yes,that one."Aunt Caroline reached out for it.Lotta passed it to her carefully.
"You see,my niece didn't want to go unnoticed and she wanted people to remember her and her friends so she made them leave a note and pictures. They were delivered to us in the mail. All the pictures are up on the walls and this is what the letter said:
Dear Mrs Carraway (Aunt Caroline)
We have enjoyed being at your school very much indeed and we loved everything that happened to us.Tell the future kids not to worry about making friends with boys,it worked in our favour, didn't it? If anyone says that no it didn't or is worried, tell them our story, the story of how three losers came to be the best kids in the class. Can you please make sure no one forgets us and that we started a legacy?
The pictures are to go with the story. We thought they'd look nice framed and hung on a wall or two. Please keep inspiring the kids to do their own plays as it was the most fun we had ever!
Yeah,we will miss your awesome random stories at the dinner table and we are sorry for every time we worried you.Let our story become a legend, something to aspire to and make sure to tell it to a least one child every year,as we are sure others will want to hear it.
Lots of love
Yours sincerely

Eden Jonas
Delly aka Delphine Carraway"

Aunt Caroline smiled at the kids in front of her.
"If you can be like them, you are doing brilliant in life."
Suddenly one boy stood up.
"They are awesome!I love the tale,I don't care if it's true or not.Why don't we all try and be like them?"
He looked around and a yell of "YEAH" filled Aunt Carolines ears.
As they all filed off to their classes Aunt Caroline smiled and thought of the three faces who in a single story had managed to inspire four whole generations.
She considered that an accomplishment and if they didn't she didn't know what they did.

Far away Delly was backstage doing Edens makeup while Red took charge of their costumes.
"I wonder if that letter we sent ever did inspire people?"
Eden and Red laughed at Dellys question.
"Of course it did Dells;how could it not?"
