The morning was grey and drizzly and Eden,Red and Delly hurried to the classroom to sit the exam.
They opened the door and went in.
The teacher called them over to her desk.
"You are amazing but you need to pass this alrighty? I managed to get you kids a spare class room to use so that your not distracted."
She herded them into the room across the hall at they sat at the desks that were spaced so far apart that they wouldn't be able to see each other's work.The teacher placed an egg timer on the desk at the front.
"You'll have two hours.Good luck!"
She set the egg timer off before leaving,shutting the door quietly behind her.
Red turned his paper over and began working on the questions.Eden rolled her eyes glanced at Red and quickly turned her paper over.Delly did the same.
Finally the timer screeched stopping the kids in their tracks.They put their pencils down and grinned at each other.
The teacher came back into the room.
"Leave your papers where they are kiddos!Return to class please!"
Grinning and nudging each other they all walked out of the door.The teacher collected up all the papers,pausing briefly to glance at them.She was thrilled when she saw the insanely difficult equations being done.
Back in the classroom Eden was pummelling Red and Delly for answers.Red shook his head not wanting to go the test because of its difficulty.
At last Delly semi shouted"Enough Eden!We had the same paper as you and I'm sure that your answers were plenty fine.Anyway,well know next week!"
Eden paused for a second.
"I know that Delly.Im just a bit worried."
"About what Eden?"
She looked up at Eden who's face went very meek all of a sudden.
"You and Red are so much smarter than me.What happens if you get in and I don't! It'll be terrible!"
"Eden,listen to me.We were all put forward which means we are just as smart as each other."she cupped her hand over her mouth,"in fact Reds the dumbest one out of the lot of us."
Red smiled ,knowing Delly was just trying to cheer Eden up.He yawned.
"I'm so sorry but I think I'm going to have to go to bed.I will see you guys in the morning ,Ok?"
"Ok,night then.Sweet dreams and all the rest of it."
Red nodded and left.
Delly looked at Eden.
"I want to speak to my mom and papa.I need to go and see my aunt.Will you come with me?"
Eden nodded.It wasn't often Delly spoke about her parents and therefore Eden was ready to help whenever she did.
"Sure,I will.Come on,let's find your aunt."
