Shawn's POV
I watched as Shae calmed Billy in her arms. It made me love her more to see how much she loved her sister. I was driving and Billy had fallen asleep Shae was still awake and I could tell she was deep in thought. Because when she's deep in thought her eyes get darker that also happens when she's mad. She was stroking Billy's hair and looking out the windshield. I proceeded to drive and by the time we got back to Shae's house Billy was slowly waking up. Shae helped Billy to the couch and lied her down. She fell asleep and Shae got her a blanket. I brought all her stuff from the car and put it in Billy's room. I came back to the living room and Shae was gone. I looked for her and I went to her room she was sitting in the middle of her bed criss cross with that same look on her face as she had in the car. I looked at her and slowly sat next to her. She looked at me and said "Shawn? Do you truly love me?" I looked at her and she had sadness in her eyes she started crying. I whipped away her tears and looked at her. I said "Baby girl what's wrong?" She looked at me and said "How could they do this" I looked at her and said "Who?" Then I realized she was talking about her parents and Billy's. She started crying harder so I picked her up and lied with her on her bed she lied on me as I lied on my back. I never wanted to move. I wanted to stay here for ever. I didn't want to leave. She poured her feelings out to me and I felt wanted here with her.
