Kira awakes with a look of fear already embedded on her face as she grasps her neck, feeling the bandage which covers the bites which I had left. She is unaware of my presence behind her and I watch as she tries to free herself from the chair I had tied her to, fascinated by the way that her human brain thinks. She sighs, giving up after a few moments of struggling and whispers soft words to herself, reassuring herself that she would be okay, but I chuckle internally because okay is the last thing that she will be.

I begin to walk slowly around her, until she is aware of my being. "How are we feeling kitten?" I ask, smirking at the girl.

"Piss off," she says, her eyes shooting daggers at me.

"Oooh you're fiery," I laugh. "That'll make you a beneficial member of my coven."

"Your coven?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. "What coven?"

"Ahh Kira, I cannot tell you that. Just know that your humanity is not being wasted," I sit in front of her, and lean my elbows against the arm of the chair she is sitting in. "Just know that you and I are going to become good friends."

"I very muchly doubt that," she scowls at me.

"Well if you don't like me, how can I trust you?" I ask her, tilting my head slightly.

"You can't trust me, and I can't trust you," she states. "That's the whole problem with this."

"You have no reason to not trust me Kira," I state, maintaining eye contract with the frightened girl. "I promise I will not cause you anymore harm."

"You've hurt me so much already, I do not believe you will just stop," she states, tears forming in her eyes.

"I am a noble man Kitten, and I am a man of my word," I frown at her. "I will not harm you any more." I watch as the girl thinks about this, and I watch as her mental cogs rotate.

"Fine I will trust you, but if you backstab me, I will destroy you," she says.

"Don't be so feisty Kitten." I laugh as she rolls her eyes at me. "I have the feeling that you and I are going to be good friends."

Isabella's Point of View

Huilen and I had spent the past few days together, at her cabin within the woods. She had dodged all my questions about this God of War which she had called Jasper. I wondered why this other part of him had never been brought up in conversation, and I wonder what else was being hidden from  me.

"Huilen, who is the God of War?" I ask once more, my temper growing as I am once again ignored. I jump to my feel and have her pinned against the wall, with my hand clamped on her throat. "I am sick of not being told the truth, so let me ask again. Who. Is. The. God. Of. War?"

"The God of War, who is also called the Major, is the most powerful, the most feared and the strongest Vampire to ever exist. He has never been defeated in battle before and he is known for his torturous and inhumane nature,  which is why every vampire knows and fears him," she states calmly, as if my hand was not on her throat.

"What does this have to do to Jasper?" I growl, my grip becoming slightly tighter.

"The Major lives inside Jasper. The Major is his alter ego," Huilen smirks. "The Major and Jasper Whitlock are the same person."

I stop breathing and feel my stomach drop and that realisation set in. I was dating the vampire who has more dangerous and feared than the Volturi. I couldn't fathom the reasoning why he was so powerful and so strong, but I knew that I would find out one way or another.
