Jasper's Point of View

18 hours. It has been 18 hours since Isabella and I have been apart. Each second that passes sends a pang of pain into my heart, every moment that we are apart I feel by self control of the Major begin to diminish. I cannot fathom what would happen if we were to remain separated for months, or years, or what would happen if one of us were to be come injured... or worst.

I cannot help but wonder what my love is doing, who she is talking to, and if she is able to drink from a vampire. I wish I knew before how addictive vampire blood is, as if I had I wouldn't have let her drink from me for the first time. It seems to have more affect on her now than human blood does, and if she cannot drink it she grows weak. Unfortunately, I am not with her to be her blood supply. So I just pray that she is okay, that she is safe.

Victoria spoke to me before we parted. She gave me very strict orders, which I would be a fool to disobey. She told me that my job was more important than gaining allies, but with that, it is more dangerous. That is the reason why she asked me to do it, instead of Isabella. As much as Victoria is very committed to her plans for domination over the humans, she cares about our coven more than anything. She cares about Isabella, as if she was Victoria's own blood, as if she was family.

Flashback.

"Jasper," Victoria grabs my arm. "I need to speak to you privately." I nod in understanding and we dart into the forest together, running until we are far away from the house and from listening ears.

"What is it Victoria?" I ask, shoving my hands in my pockets.

"I have a job for you to do whilst you are away," Victoria's eyes lock with my own. "I will be splitting you and Isabella up so you can complete this job. But I cannot stress enough, that Isabella remains oblivious to your job, okay?"

"Okay," I wonder what this job will be, and why it is so important.

"Great. Now, I need you to go make a camp somewhere deserted and begin to make a newborn army. I will need you to create over 3000 newborns who can fight with us and I need you to train them to fight and to survive. I know you have the most experience with Newborn vampires, which is why you will need the help of The Major in this task," her eyes glint, almost devilishly.

"How do you know about the Major?" I ask, dread rushing through my body,

"I haven't been living under a rock for the past 300 years. Every vampire as old as me knows your name Jasper Whitlock," Victoria smirks. "But, Isabella is yet to find out about your secret. Why doesn't she know?"

"It is too dangerous to tell her about right now," I frown. "I cannot risk loosening the reins on the Major because he is dangerous."

"Well, Jasper, you better get a control of him whilst you're away because we need this army. Isabella needs this army. I cannot afford to let her get hurt, so I am willing to end lives of newborn vampires and send them straight to their death if it means that Isabella is isn't so much in harms way," Victoria states.

Present time

Victoria knew the right things to say to make me want to do this mission. She knew that I would do anything to ensure that Isabella would be okay. She is the devil, dressed as a daydream. But, she will be the reason that Vampires regain their title of the alpha race. She will be the end of the Humans grasp on the world and she will ensure that we all get a chance to live to the fullest extent to our lives.

"Come on Jasper," I whisper to myself, annoyance flowing through my body. "Why can't you find a good place to set up camp?" After becoming used to feeding on humans, the blood of animals is not quite the same and it doesn't give me the same strength.

I sigh, leaning against a tree. I close my eyes for a moment, as a pathetic attempt to regain my bearings. I think about Isabella, and her thoughts about our mission. If she was here with me, I would be laughing. The thought of her calms me down instantly, and I am able to continue my trek.

I sprint through the forest for another 3 hours, eyes alert for a clearing to set up camp, until finally I come across the perfect area. It is a large opening, with dense tree's around the perimeter which provides the perfect privacy when it comes to training newborn vampires.

Obviously, the newborn's will be at their prime strength weeks after they have been changed and will lose some strength as they learn control, which will be difficult when attempting to maintain their strength to assist us. Victoria was not worried about their decrease in strength, and was hoping mostly for them to be trained to fight and defend not only themselves, but us.

But for now, I must create our home and hope that I will be able to train the vampires newborns.
