Continue Wednesday.
Lexi got into her 3rd period and shortly after her best friend Alisha showed up. Lexi ran up to Alisha and told her that she gave him her number and Alisha was shocked that she actually had the confidence and courage to do that. The two girls sat on the bleachers and talked for a minute, but then the tardy bell had rung. It seemed as soon as the tardy bell had rang Lexi received a text from an unknown number that the messaged claimed "Hi. Is this Lexi?" Lexi then looked at her phone and slightly squealed in a high pitched voice and showed Alisha the message she had received. Lexi was actually thinking of how could a cute guy like him actually text her. She texted back as the speed of light and responded "yes :)". The two started texting back and forth for awhile and they both were getting to know more about each other.
Lexi had found out that Trey was a senior and he was going to be going to college soon. Once Lexi found out the news, she was deeply disappointed since she had been hoping he was a sophomore or junior. Lexi called her mom to tell her the great news that she did go through with giving him her number and that he was a senior.
Her texting suddenly changed and Trey must've noticed, because he then asked her "are you okay?" And of course she had to be kind and lie "yes I'm fine.." but he still could tell something wasn't right. "Are you sure nothing's bothering you?" He asked. She replied "well, honestly I'm a little bit disappointed that you're a senior, since I'm a freshman" he tried to tell her not to worry. So she changed her attitude as they continued to text.
It was near the end of the class period and Lexi asked Trey if she could awkwardly say hi to him in the hallway since they would see each other and he responded with "only if I can awkwardly say hi back". Lexi was amused and flattered. Once they reached the hallway they said "hi" and went about their ways to the next class...
