33. Truth or dare

At quarter to ten me and Lily went to the 6th year boys dormitory and opened the door, Lily stuck her head in first and me second. I saw the back of James with his shirt off and immediately had the idea and pushes Lily in. I heard voices from inside and then Lily came out, red-faced and furious, I was laughing silently at her, then she grabbed me and pushed me through the door. I tumbled into the room and landed on my back, I stared up at the ceiling, it was soon blocked by Remus, he also had his shirt off, I also went red as he pulled me up.
"Lily pushed me in," I said quickly.
"Yeah, you totally weren't spying on us," James said, smirking, I opened the door and dragged Lily in, she was still laughing.
"Is jack out there?" Sirius said.
"No, we were a bit early," I replied sitting on Remus's bed.
"Did you bring any food?" James asked as he pushes his bed closer to Remus's.
"Yeah, I went down to the kitchen and got some food," I said dropping a bag on the floor, it was full of snacks.
"Great," Sirius said. There was knock at the door,  James and Remus pulled their shirts on and Lily answered it,  Jack was standing there.
"Hi jack!" I said, as Lily invited him in.
"Hi," he said nervously, "some boys in my dormitory gave me these," he held out some boxes of sweets. Sirius cheered, they were effect sweets they had different effects on you like making you fall asleep, or make you breathe fire.
"Yeah, those are the best!" James said.
"Right let's start," Remus said, "what's your favourite animal?"
"Umm, I don't know, I like dragons," Jack said sitting on Sirius's bed.
"Hmmm, maybe something like fire," I suggested.
"Yeah," Sirius said, "hang on a minute what colour are you eyes?" He almost knocked Jack over as he stared into his eyes. "Kind of a light brown," he concluded sitting up.
"Merlin's beard!" Lily said, "you almost flattened him, Sirius"
"Oh, sorry mate," Sirius said.
"Hey, how about Fire-eyes?" Remus suggested.
"Yeah, that sounds cool," I said, taking a chicken leg from a plate.
"Yeah, it makes him sound like a dragon," Peter said, kneeling on his bed.
"Ok, that's decided, Jack Burrow you are hear by named Fire-eyes by the Marauders," James said, "and Lily," he added.
"Great!" Sirius said, "let's play a game now."
"Like what?" I asked.
"Well, we could play, truth or dare, king, word story or food catch," Sirius replied.
"Let's play, truth or dare," James said, "extreme."
"What's that difference?" Jack asked.
"Well in extreme you have to do the dare or truth that is set out, and if you don't then you are the person's server for a week," Remus explained.
"Ok," Jack said nervously.
"Right, Prongs you first," Sirius said a grin at James, "truth or dare?"
"Truth," James replied.
"When was the last time you were completely naked, in front of a girl?" Sirius said. James went red and shifted slightly.
"Well, maybe in fourth year, you know at that party," he said, glancing nervously at Lily, she turned her nose up in the air.
"Who?" I asked.
"Ahh, Greypaws he can't tell you," Sirius said, I scowled.
"Right, Fire-eyes your turn," James said, "truth or dare?"
"Umm, truth," Jack said.
"Hmmm, have you ever kissed someone?"
"No," Jack said.
"What?" Sirius said, "you're eleven and you've never had a kiss?"
"Padfoot, he doesn't go, what was it? Girl hunting," I said. Sirius went red and leaned back on his pillows.
"Ok, umm Wormtail, truth or dare?" Jack said.
"Truth," Peter said.
"What's your favourite food?"
"I like cheese," he replied "Ok, Moony, truth or dare?" Peter said.
"Truth," Remus replied.
"Ok, if you were the opposite gender, who in this room would you date?" Peter said.
"Can I still say Greypaws?" He said, I head-butted his shoulder playfully.
"Yeah," Sirius said, smirking.
"Ok, Greypaws, truth or dare," Remus said.
"Well, no one has dare, so dare," I replied, sitting up.
"Hmmm, ok you have to act like a cat for ten minutes," Remus said, laughing.
"Fine," I said, flicking my hair, I rested my head on Remus's lap, and started to purr, everyone started to laugh.
"Ok, let me do my turn," I said, "Lily, truth or dare."
"Truth," she replied.
"Ok, what would James have to do for you to go out with him?" I said.
"Ok, now back to a cat," Remus said, patting my head. Lily scowled as she glared at James.
"He'd have to deflate his head, a lot," she replied. James stared innocently at Lily, like a puppy asking for food, Lily turned to Remus.
"Remus, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"Hmmm," she said thoughtfully, then she grinned slyly, "I know this will affect Lyra, you have to take you shirt off, and every time she takes her head off your lap, you have to wrestle with her."
"What!" I said, snapping my head up, I was suddenly pushed down into the bed by Remus, he was grinning.
"Ok, Fire-eyes? Truth or dare," he said as I rested my head on his lap again and he pulled his shirt off, I blushed slightly.
"Truth."
"Do you have a crush on anyone?" Remus asked, brushing my hair absentmindedly.
"Umm," he went red, "there's this girl in Ravenclaw, she has black hair and green eyes and on the train she was really nice to me."
"We will help you get the girl!" Sirius exclaimed.
"Yeah," I said lifting my head and smiling at him, only to be knocked over by Remus.
"Thanks," Jack said blushing, "Lily, truth or dare?"
"Dare," she said cautiously.
"Ummm, I dare you to, sit with your head in James's lap until Lyra had finished her dare." Lily stared at me.
"Meow!" I said playfully, she gingerly rested her head on James's lap. Everyone started to laugh at her face, which was a look of disgust.
"Right, Sirius, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Would you kiss Lyra for a hundred Galleons?"
"What? No that would be weird,"he replied quickly, "she's my sister and I'd probably be beaten to a pulp by a w-"
"Shut your face!" James said throwing a chicken bone at Sirius.
"A wonderful boyfriend," Sirius said hurriedly, Jack and Lily stared at Sirius. "Ok, James, truth or dare?" He said quickly.
"Truth."
"How long have you had a crush on Lily?"
"Since first year," he said proudly, everyone sniggered at him.
"My times up!" I said suddenly jumping up on Remus's bed. A sudden tug of my waist unbalanced me and I fell onto Remus. Everyone laughed at me, as Remus smirked at me. "What was that for?" I said, as I sat up.
"It was funny," Remus replied.
"Right," James said, "Greypaws, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"Hmmm, you have to kiss Remus in front of us." I went slightly red, we had never properly kissed in front of anyone. I turned to Remus, he wasn't grinning anymore.
"Fine," I said and I shifted towards Remus, we kissed, then broke apart quickly.
"Longer!" James said, "properly kissing." I sighed then I kissed Remus again, he hesitated then kissed back, it was less passionate but I still think it passé for James. Suddenly something soft hit my head and I jerked into Remus's head, causing us to pull apart running our heads.
"James, that's my sister, I'd rather not see that," Sirius said, I guessed it was him who threw the pillow.
"Fine, Lyra your turn," James said.
"Ok, Sirius, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"You aren't aloud to talk until first period tomorrow," I said, simply.
"What!" He said, "can't you do anything else?"
"Nope, not unless you are my servant for a week," I replied, he scowled at me then crossed his arms and glared at me. "Right, now that he can't speak I get to have a go again, Wormtail truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to eat a random sweet from the bowl," I said holding out the bowl of mixed effect sweets.
"Er, ok," he said taking a pink one gingerly. He popped it in his mouth and chewed, he seemed fine then he fell backwards, sound asleep.
"Sleeping, strawberry whips," I said putting the bowl down, "he'll be out for hours."
"Ok, as he can't do his turn either I'll do it again, Moony truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"What did you dream of last night?"
"Umm, it was about you me, Padfoot, Prongs and Wormtail at, um, night and we were running round, then I think something happened and you were all bleeding on the floor," he said, staring at his knees. I knew he wasn't saying it quite right, I took it that we were all transformed, 'night' meant full moon and it was him that attacked us. I put my arms round him, and squeezed.
"Right, I guess, Fire-eyes, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to jump on James's bed until he falls off."
"Ok," Jack said and he started to jump on James's bed, James and Lily got knocked into each other, James came close twice before he eventually fell off the bed, he grunted as he got to his feet.
"Ok, Moony, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"You have to give Greypaws a piggyback and run round the room, twice." Remus shrugged as he bent down to let me on his back, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he held me up, as he ran round the room twice.
"Done," he panted as I slid off his back.
"Greypaws truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Do you think those visions you had in third year are going to happen?" I thought about it, did I? I didn't want it to happen but I couldn't help but remember the black-haired boy.
"Maybe, I mean it was very detail so it might be, but I can't stand the thought of all you being dead." Remus nodded, solemnly.
"Lily, truth or dare?"
"Dare," she said confidently.
"I dare you to close you eyes and let James kiss you for as long as he likes," I said grinning evilly, she stared at me.
"What! No way!" She said.
"Well then you're my servant," I replied, she scowled then agreed and closed her eyes reluctantly. James leaned in a kissed her, we all watched them, as James kissed her then to our surprise Lily kissed him back. They were properly kissing now, both of them, James's hand was twisting the end of Lily's hair and Lily's hand was holding James's shirt. I coughed loudly and they broke apart blushing, I smirked at Lily.
"Let's stop now," Jack said, grinning.
"Ok," I said, "let's try some of these sweets."
We all ate the different sweets, some making us act like animals, some making our heads swell and others merely changing our voice. By the time we'd run out Lily, Jack and Remus had fallen asleep, we weren't sure if it was the sweets or just tiredness. I leant back against Remus, my head on his chest, I could hear his heart beating.
"Greypaws?" James whispered, as Sirius had also fallen asleep now.
"Yeah?"
"Do you love Remus?"
"Of course I do, why would you ask?"
"Just wanted to know my brother wasn't going to have his heart broken."
"Don't worry, I'll never desert him."
"Good."
"And you with Lily, don't crush my sister."
"I won't."
"Good, I think I might go to sleep now." I said closing my eyes.
"Ok, g'night."
"Night," I mumbled as I drifted off to sleep.
