52. You're the best

Lyra's POV

I was somewhere warm and cosy, my mind couldn't process the specific place though. But I could a faint humming, and footsteps, mixed in with my dream of past experiences.
"Father, I wish to play with my brothers," I muttered before I opened my eyes and sat up.
"'Ey?" Lily said from her bed, she was watching me like a hawk watching a mouse, "come on, you need to see what's been done." She leapt forward and grabbed my arm, dragging me out of bed. Now I could fully process things, I was doing homework, with Remus, then I was with Sirius and Regulas- no I fell asleep and dreamt that. Hang on, I haven't finish my homework, or down quidditch practice, or anything!
"Lily! What time is it? What day is it? Have I missed practice? Or lessons? What of my homework?" I stared at her expecting answers but she just laughed.
"For once in your life, calm down and relax. That's what I wanted to show you, come on." She smirked and dragged me down to the common room, still in our Pjs.
"Lyra!" Was what met me as I staggered down the last step, it was James, Peter, Sirius and Remus.
"What the-" I was cut off by Peter moving forward and pressing all my assignments, which were completed into my arms. "Wow, er thanks," is stutter before James moved forward and showed me my broom which had been polished and clipped. "My broom?" I couldn't get out much more as Sirius shoved a cake into my mouth.
"Sirius! You could've been a bit more careful!" Lily shrieked at him, hitting his head.
"Sorry," he muttered, smirking with a smirk that told me the hit was worth it. Remus was next to come up to me, he held nothing in his hands as I finished my mouthful of cake and put my homework down.
"Greypaws, we all saw how much you were stressing over exams and decided to help you out a bit." Remus smiled widely and pushed down hair out of my face.
"It was all his idea," Peter piped up, making Remus blush.
"Yeah, he came to wake us up," James added.
"He told us what to do," Sirius chuckled.
"It's true," Lily muttered next to me.
"Well, maybe I took charge but-" now it was my turn to cut someone off, I threw myself at the brown-haired werewolf that I was happy to call my boyfriend.
"Remus John Lupin, you're such an adorable and sweet man." I hugged him tight and smiled into his should as he returned the hug.
"Thanks," he muttered.
"Well, it was his idea, but I think I deserve something too," James said, making us all laugh and earning himself a hit from Lily.
"Of course," I released Remus from my grip, "you're all the best, I don't know how to thank you." I smiled and opened my arms, "how about a group hug?" Everyone joined in with the hug and we all laughed at the tight squeeze.

The next few weeks were easier as the homework that I'd let pile up was gone and I could get on with everything without worry. I began to play better in Quidditch and my grades improved. NEWTs were difficult but I had a good feeling that next year I would get good grades and I would manage to get a good job and prove my parents wrong about muggle-borns.

Really short ik, but I'm probably going to skip to after they leave school because I have more ideas. Sorry for the long wait, I also started a new book about soulmates and would really appreciate if you checked it out and requested some, maybe Harry Potter or something else. :)
