Chapter 1 (Rewrite)

A/N: So sorry if you liked the chapter before, but the way that this story was written before was bothering me. Enjoy!

Summary: (A lot of this story is going to change, in the way that the storyline itself is going to be pretty different.) Set a few months after the crossover. Kara Danvers loses her short term boyfriend to many...unforseen circumstances. She goes to earth one to blow off a little steam and visit some friends, but finds something more there.

(Kara's P.O.V)

I've never been much of a drinker, but there are certain times were I wish I could down as many shots of the strongest alien alcohol they have possible all at once. Like today, for instance, Mon-El just decides to break up with me and then disappear. I have no clue where he went or why he broke up with me.

After I finished my normal day at work at Catco, Snapper yelling at me for writing too biased of a piece, pretty much everything that goes on in a day of work at Catco. Once I got home, I decided to do whatever it takes to get my mind off of Mon-El.

Last minute I decided to pack a bag and head over to earth one for a few days. I called and told Alex and J'onn first but I hung up so they couldn't make any decisions for me. I'm not trying to be cold or distant with anyone. But, sometimes, it just happens. Even if I have known the people on this earth longer, I feel like I can trust the people on earth one more. I feel as if I can relate to them. Except for Mick, I don't really trust him at all, but I like to give him the benefit of doubt.

I grabbed my inter-dimensional extrapolator off my nightstand and opened a breach. Then I stepped through. When I was kicked out on the other side, I could smell how fresh the air was and...burgers. I looked around to see that I was directly near S.T.A.R Labs. I grinned for the first time in a few days and walked up to the building. I wasn't exactly sure how to get in. I spotted a camera and waved at it and stood around awkwardly. 'Till someone finally let me in. Cisco was sitting at a monitor and Barry and Caitlin were out of sight. "Cisco! Hey! Sorry for dropping in unannounced," I apologize as he springs up from his chair, surprised.

"Hey! It's cool, you know, I was actually talking about how much I wished you were here the other day," he rattles and I pull him in for a hug. "Oh, I forgot how strong you were," he struggles to breathe, I realize that I have too hard of a grip on him. I let go and simply smile at him.

"Where's Barry or Caitlin?" I ask, confused.

"Barry's out catching bad guys, should be back not too long from now, and Caitlin is on her first date in months," he lowers his voice at the last part. I am about to say something when but I stop when I hear a distant thwick coming from another room, it sounded like an arrow hitting a hard surface. I cocked my head and looked at Cisco with a look that he probably knows all too well.

"Who's that?" I can feel the crinkle forming in between my eyes. A very habitual crinkle.

"Ah, Oliver Queen, Green Arrow, whatever you want to call him, he came over because we needed a bit of help with something and now...he just decided to stay because he wanted to stay and get away from all the crazy stuff going on in Star City," he explains and sits back down in his chair. I hum as a noise of understanding.

"You mind if I -" he cuts me off as if he knew what I was going to say before I said it. He points me in the direction as he monitors the monitor. I walk down the corridor and try to pinpoint where the noise is coming from. I peek around a specific doorframe and find him shooting arrows, with his shirt off. I knock on the doorframe and he turns around. He pulls an arrow back as a defense mechanism until he sees who I am. I almost stare at his muscles, his tattoo, his scars, then I remember why I came in here and it wasn't just to stare at him. Just to exchange pleasantries.
