Chapter 6 (Rewrite)

I feel like this chapter will be a filler chapter too. I dunno though. The story is definitely going to be a lot longer than it was last time. There's a slight chance of 30 chapters. Then there will be the second book. I'm not sure how long this series will be, but a lot of you guys also want me to write more Ollie x Kara books, and I'll get on that right away. But, what do you want me to write? Give me ideas please. And, don't forget about "Steel" making a comeback. There's a lot to look forward to guys. Now, on with the story.

(Still Third Person)

(Earth 38)

"I miss Kara," Winn whines, pushing away from his computer desk and spinning around.

"We all do Winn, but it's best to let her have her space. Be with her friends with Earth One. She was injured not to long ago and she's probably really hard on herself for everything that happened with Mon-El, so until she comes back, we have to be strong for her. We have to do her work," Alex says, then pops him on the shoulder lightly, reprimanding him for the spinning. When he should be working.

"Papa Bear seems really worried for her, if this wasn't so natural for him, I would be worried. But I'm not," he says, bouncing his knee and keeping his full attention on Alex until his phone beeps. He blanches and Alex immediately knows what it is.

"Cadmus?"

"Cadmus."

(Earth One)

After downing about...five more beers, all Oliver can do is stare at her. "How the hell aren't you drunk yet? Can Kryptonians just not get drunk?" He questions and continues to gawk. She holds up a finger, downs the last beer, and sighs.

"With my powers, with all Kryptonian power under the yellow sun, we cannot get drunk to human alcohol. We feel a buzz for a second if it's strong enough, but our super fast metabolism burns it away...like Barry, except, y'know, he's not Kryptonian," Kara explains, then finishes off her nachos as well. She flags down the bartender and asks for the total. Then she pulls out her wallet, checking to see if she has enough.

Oliver pulls out his wallet the same time she does, and looks up at her trying to find enough money. He places a hand on her arm and firmly shakes his head. "I can pay Kara, it just wouldn't be right if I didn't," he says and then hands the bartender enough to cover the total plus a generous tip. They both say thank you to the bartender and then head out.

"Thank you, too. You didn't have to do that Oliver, I had enough money, and I know it seems cliche but I don't really like it when guys pay for me...although, I guess it's the same for guys," she chuckles to herself. They cross the street quickly, and head on back to S.T.A.R Labs.

Once they're inside, he turns to her. "It's great if you want to stay here, but how about you come back to Star City with me. You can stay with my sister Thea in her apartment, or wherever you want. But, I think you'll really like staying with my sister, you two seem like you would get along really well," he tries to convince her and smiles broadly, and unashamed.

"Well if she's anything like you, I'm sure I'll like her," she smiles back at him, unknowingly flirting with him. When he freezes up, she realizes what she's done and groans inwardly. Sliding her hand down her face, in embarassment. "But, yes, I would enjoy staying in Star City for a few days. I'll tell Barry, and Cisco, and Caitlin, and I'll also tell them that I'll keep in touch with them," she says then walks off, with a slight skip in her step. He sits down in a seat nearby, and sends a text to his sister.
