Hi guys. I'm sorry if I'm been away for along time. And, I'm sorry I keep apologizing. I've been so stressed and weighed down for the past few months that it's not even funny and writing has become more of a chore than something I enjoy. I'm getting a bit better now, and I'm starting to enjoy it again. I hope you guys understand why I've been away for so long. Also, I've kinda been binging Supernatural. But, in other news...has anybody watched Crisis on Infinite Earths? I mean woah. On with the story.

Summary: Kara finds it a bit hard to work around Oliver seeing as they don't know exactly what they are yet. She's also a bit wary of jumping into another relationship.

Kara flipped the sizzling bacon, flinching when some grease pops. She knows it won't hurt her but it's a natural reaction. She sighs contently when Oliver snakes his arms around her waist, kissing her on the cheek.

"Good morning," he greets tiredly, but immediately perking up at the smell of bacon. He reaches out to grab some from the plate, but Kara swats at his hand.

"Alright, alright, I can take a hint," he moves to sit on the barstool behind her. "You know, I'm glad we got that date yesterday," he smirks, flirting lightly.

"I am too, more than anything," she says back, coming over to the island and setting the plates down on it. "You know, it's been a long, long time since I've been on a good date. So thank you."

"You don't have to thank me Kara, but it's nice to be appreciated sometimes," he says and smiles. "Last night was...amazing. I know you're still trying to move on, so I'm glad we didn't move too fast. But, I am glad we got to talk and well...kiss," he continues.

She laughs. "Enough about last night, let's eat."

So, they grab food from the plates, and get to eating. They eat in silence, but it's a comfortable silence. Once they're done, they rinse their plates off and cups and stick them in the dishwasher.

They take turns taking showers; Oliver changes back into his clothes from last night, he hadn't remembered to grab a change of clothes. So, he's, therefore, stuck with the same clothes. Once, they're all showered and changed, they leave Kara's apartment and head on over to the D.E.O.

They walked and chatted on the way over. There wasn't really a reason for them to walk, Kara could've flown them, but they chose to. To spend time together.

Along the walk, she pointed out some of her favorite restaurant, bookstores, and just places to be in general. He absorbed all of it, loving that he got to him learn more about her.

Once they arrived at the D.E.O, they got swept up in the commotion. Kara quickly changed into her Supergirl suit. Oliver changed into a spare Arrow suit that he decided to leave here. J'onn handed them their comms and sent them out into the field. Explaining that an inmate, from their holding cells at the facility, somehow escaped.

Oliver took a bike and Kara flew. She obviously got to the scene before he did, but arrived soon after. It was a bank robbery, the escapee had apparently rallied a few others to help him out.

"Aw guys, how thoughtful of you. You really just put yourself on a silver platter and delivered yourself to me," she said with snark, she feels as if it's been forever since she's been in the field. As she's been recuperating mentally and physically from dying and coming back, she also has been trying to make some time for Oliver. So, it has been quite a bit since she's taken on a bank robbery.

"You really think we'd be that easy to catch Supergirl? We're not that dumb," the escapee scoffs, pulling out a gun and pointing it in her face. "In fact, you wouldn't have brought your boyfriend over there if you had thought you could take us alone," he motions to Oliver. Kara looks back at him, and smirks. She punches the escapee across the face, catching him off guard. She disarms him, and kicks the gun away. She finds something to tie him up with while Oliver takes on the other two. After she ties hers up, she takes on one more. She disarms them as well and ties them up. When she turns around she narrowly avoids a bullet to the gut, Oliver pushing her out of the way.
