Nadine's pov
"There you have it." Logan gently squeezed my arms to let me know that she was done braiding my hair.
I looked up from my phone to stare at myself in the mirror. I turned my head to the side, taking a better look on my hair. I ran my hand down my hair, from the root to the tail as i smiled contently. "Thanks, Logan."
"You look good, Nads." Logan said as she brushed her gaze at me, head to toe.
I automatically followed her move, checking myself out with my own eyes. I was wearing a white crop top with high waisted shorts. I also put on white sneakers.
Logan is basically a splitting image of me. The hair, the eyes, we share the same colors. What makes us different is that she looks like my mom and my dad both combined, while i 100% look like my dad. So, if she told me i looked good, then it was no doubt that she was even better.
"Thanks. You don't look bad yourself." I grinned as i looked up. "So, you good to go?"
Logan nodded, smiling ear to ear.
"Let's get going." I snatched the keys off the hook.
✖️✖️✖️
"Why are you so nervous? Im the one who should, by the way." I split my glance at her as i struggled to park the car. She hasn't stopped tapping her foot since we entered the parking lot.
"Im not." Logan shook her head. "Im just beyond excited."
I rolled my eyes then chuckled. "Believe me, im excited too." I finally made my way to park the car. I killed the machine, withdrawing the key off the ignition then got out of the car.
We then walked towards the venue where i could spot everyone busy working here and there.
I stopped walking for a bit to admire what surrounded me. Damn this place sure was like a miniature of Coachella. There are three stages, one in front of me was the main stage, the biggest one of all. Two other stages, one to my left and one to my right, were smaller than the main stage but still looked amazing with the decorations and all that.
But my eyes are back to stare at the main stage. Damn. How am i supposed to sing up there? I suddenly felt self conscious. Now i am nervous as hell.
Wait, what did i say?
Surprise surprise!
Remember that one time when i said i do sing and play instruments? Well, here i am.
Having a vacation was not the only reason why i headed to Bali. I flew here to attend a music festival or to be specific, i am one of the performers. I will sing up there on the stage tomorrow.
Singing and playing instruments weren't just a regular hobby for me. I make living from those.
I didn't know how long ive been spacing out till a voice of someone's snapping me out of my thoughts. A very familiar one.
"Nads!"
I turned around, only to find a very happy face of Romee.
"Oh my god, Nads! You're a sight for sore eyes! Ive been looking for you since the moment i arrived here!" She gushed as she threw her hands open and wrapped them around me. She swept me off my feet, spinning me around, making me laughed as she did so. She was such a skinny bitch, you'd think she was fragile, that one wrong move you do and you'll break her bones. But she wasn't. Be careful with what you see because seeing is deceiving. She was stronger than you could ever imagine.
