Nadine's pov
"Seriously, Nads? A club?" Brandon asked as he killed the machine, pulling the key out of the ignition.
I pulled together my brows, giving him a questioning look.
"I don't think its a good idea." He added, even before i could open my mouth to say something.
"Don't be such a coward, bro." Dylan, who was sitting in the middle seat right behind Brandon, chimed in. "Come on, let's go inside." He patted Brandon's shoulder, signaling him to get out of the car and head inside.
"I am not a coward, you dipshit." I could hear Brandon huffed.
I snorted with laughter before licking my lips and looking back at him. "You go guys, i'll talk to him." I announced as i slightly shifted so i could face Alisha, Dylan, Kat and Miles.
"Come on, Brandie. We're here to have fun." I spoke up as soon as we were alone, managing to drag his sorry ass to the club.
"Don't call me that." He scolded, pouting.
He looked cute when he's mad even though i know he was just messing with me. I just laughed, feeling satisfied with the fact that he started to take in my trick.
"I won't stop until you say yes," i stopped, putting period. "Brandie." I grinned at him sweetly, knowing exactly how the mere mention of that lame name i gave him would rub him.
"Stop calling me that way, oh my god, Nadine."
"You know what? The more you're being stubborn, the harder i'll try to drag you inside." I twitched the corner of my lips, forming a smirk.
He narrowed his eyes at me. "Fine. I'll head inside with you." He hastily opened his door and got out of the car. I just chuckled as i watched him stuttered in front of the car before he made a halt on my side, ready to open my door.
"After what i did to you and you still open the door for me. What a gentleman." I stated, trying not to be sarcasm but typical me, i never said anything without a slight touch of saltiness. I stepped out onto the pavement, immediately hit by the cool breeze.
"A simple 'thank you' would be nice, missus." He smiled sweetly, as if he didn't mind with me being sassy.
"Thank you, lover boy." I said, winking at him, leaving him dumbstruck with his mouth dropped open.
✖️✖️✖️
We walked in to the club side by side as he had his hand on my lower back. Once we stepped inside, i found some familiar faces greeted me, occasionally nodded their heads towards me, acknowledging my presence. I returned their motions with a smile. And Brandon seemed to notice that. All of sudden he strides forward, now walking in front of me, taking my hand in his. His grip on my hand was tightened everytime he saw someone raked their eyes on me.I emerged and resumed into a steady pace as soon as i caught up with his steps. "Hey, relax, you squeeze a little bit too tight, i can't feel my fingers." I whispered in his ear.
He looked at me with his eyes wide opened, shocked. "Im sorry." He loosened his grip but didn't let go of my hand. "Sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Its okay." I chuckled. "Well, let's just get our ass seated." I nodded towards a table furthest from the door.
Its not very dark in here yet its dim enough to leave me slightly stumbled when i sat down in the booth, across from Brandon.
