Deciding to spend their free day right, Glaiza, Sanya and Gabbi decided to have coffee at the Tweedle Book Cafe in Diliman, Quezon City.
Thankfully, there weren't a lot of people in the venue, which was why they could talk and bond freely without having to feel conscious of their every move.
"Grabe, ang bilis talaga ng panahon, no?" Sanya said, after taking a sip of her iced latte. "Parang kailan lang, tinawagan tayo ni Direk na tayo yung gaganap bilang mga sanggre, tapos ngayon, down to the last, two weeks na tayo ng Enca." She added.
"Tell me about it. Gabbi agreed.
"Well guys, ganun talaga." Glaiza said. Siguro next year.
Sanya immediately lit up as soon as she had heard her former co-star's name.
"Oo nga no? Sana magkaroon pa ng season 2. Miss na miss ko na rin kasi si Ky eh." She said, slowly reminiscing the fun moments that the both of them had, kicking some Hathorian ass as Amihan and Danaya.
"Huh? Paano mo nalaman 'yan?" Glaiza wondered.
"Wala lang. Tinawagan ko lang siya out of the blue, tapos ayun.
Glaiza nodded in agreement.
She explained.
"Um guys, I think we should just leave her alone." Gabbi said, much to the surprise of her two co-stars who looked at each other, wondering why the youngest of the 3 of them had a certain edginess to her voice.
"I mean, kilala ko si Ate Ky. She's not as... open as us. Gusto niyang mapag-isa." She added. "And kung ano man ang di nila pagkakaunawaan ni Aljur, dapat labas na tayo dun. It's her life, and I know that she's mature enough to deal with her problems."
"Hindi naman tayo makikisawsaw sa kanila, Gab." Sanya was quick to say.
Feeling the tension that was slowly building up between Sanya and Gabbi,Glaiza quickly toned things down by immediately taking the role of the mediator in the conversation.
"Girls, hindi niyo naman kailangang mag-away, okay. Ano ba. Chill lang." She said, holding both of their hands on the table. So... tatawagan natin siya. Or better yet, puntahan nalang natin siya."
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Gabbi retorted. "Nag-lilive in sila ni Aljur, so if we visit her, we visit him.
Glaiza agreed. "Hopefully, they'll welcome us with open arms."
It took almost 30 to 35 minutes before, Glaiza, Sanya and Gabbi had finally arrived at Aljur's house in a private and well-guarded subdivision near GMA.
Truth be told, it was their first time to be here, but thanks to Glaiza's GPS and the fact that Jak, Sanya's older brother, was good friends with Aljur, they had successfully arrived at their chosen destination.
"Tao po?" Sanya said, as soon as she had rung the doorbell three times.
They were welcomed by a helper that slowly opened the pedestrian gate to greet them properly.
Sanya said.
The three co-stars immediately looked at each other with puzzled expressions on their faces.
"Ano po ang ibig niyong sabihin?" Glaiza asked, seeking for clarification.
The helper explained.
"Jusko." Sanya said, instantly feeling worried. "Kawawa naman si Kylie. Saan kaya siya pumunta?" She added.
"Parang alam ko kung saan." Gabbi answered.
