As soon as it was Gabbi who had answered her call, Kylie wasn't quite sure if she had made the right decision to call Ruru.

She knew that she had acted on impulse, but there was nothing that she could do to take back what she had just done. She had to face the consequences of her actions, even if it meant having to talk to his ex.

"Ate Ky?" Gabbi said, pulling Kylie back to reality. "Bakit napatawag ka?"

"Bakit ikaw ang sumagot sa tawag ko?" Kylie thought. But of course she couldn't say that to her junior.

"Um... kukumustahin ko lang sana si Ruru, Gab." Kylie said, as if it were something that she had been used to doing. "You know, um, I'm just trying to stay in touch with you guys. Um.. kamusta ka na?" She added.

"Well... okay lang ako, ate Ky." Gabbi answered. "Been really busy dito sa Enca shooting. Ako nga yung sumagot sa phone ni Ru kasi nag-shoshoot pa siya ngayon."

"I see." Kylie said. "Well anyway, mag-focus na kayo diyan. I'll just call again later."

"Sige, ate Ky. Bye."

"Bye."

As soon as their short conversation had ended, Kylie had a little flashback of the time she and Ruru had shot the first Ybramihan kissing scene.

Even before the cameras were rolling, Ruru was no longer Ruru and Kylie was no longer Kylie. They were Ybrahim and Amihan. The prince and queen of Sapiro and Lireo, respectively.

Direk Mark had them get into character early because he knew that the scene was heavy and that it would require a lot of emotion coming from them, so they had to prepare, and by prepare he meant, "spend as much time together and feel the raw emotion of having to separate because of one's impending death".

The beauty of being "in character" was having yourself engrossed in the character that you play to a point where you are them, and this was something that Gabbi did not seem to understand.

While Ruru and Kylie were playing their part, sitting beside each other and holding hands even before they were called for the shooting of their scene, she was filled with a vicious kind of jealousy.

She knew that it wasn't Ruru and Kylie that had been situated right before her, but Ybrahim and Amihan, but the jealousy was something that she could no longer hide nor deny.

Gabbi saw the way Ruru looked at Kylie, and she knew that it was different, because the latter had never looked at her like that.

When Ruru planted a soft kiss on Kylie's hand, she swore she felt her heart break, because in the many kisses that the both of them had shared when they were together, they were never as meaningful and as passionate as that kiss that Ruru had simply given to her.

Kylie had noticed this. She had noticed Gabbi's stare from afar, and in that very moment of self-consciousness, she knew that she lost her being Amihan and switched back to being her real self.

"Amihan, may problema ba?" Ruru asked, obviously still in character.

"Wala, Ybrahim." Kylie responded. "Bigla ko lang naisip ang lahat ng ating pinagdaanan." She added, trying to get herself engrossed in her character again.

Kylie knew that Gabbi's feelings towards Ruru still lingered very strongly, and as much as she wanted to just ignore the brewing feelings that she also had for him, it was hard. So so hard to do.

As Kylie sat on the edge of Ruru's bed, she couldn't help but let out a brief and miserable laugh because it did seem like the Alena-Ybrahim-Amihan love triangle was slowly coming to life, and she wasn't quite sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing.

"Hay, ano ba 'tong nangyayari sa akin... sa lintik na buhay na 'to." Kylie uttered. "Why can't I just live in happiness and peace? That's all I want."

While Kylie was pondering on her life, Ruru had just finished shooting and hurriedly proceeded to the boys' quarters where he found Gabbi going through his phone.

"Gab," he uttered.

"Um..." Gabbi had obviously been a "deer caught in headlights". "Akala ko ba may shooting ka pa?"

"Tapos na." Ruru answered, trying to hide the fact that he was pissed at what he had just seen. "Gab, konting respeto naman sa mga gamit ko oh. Lalong lalo na sa cellphone ko." He added.

"Sorry, I just..." Gabbi said, putting down his phone. "Hindi ko napigilan. At nag-riring siya, so sinagot ko."

"May tumawag sa 'kin?" Ruru asked almost immediately.

"Oo. Si Kylie."

Upon hearing her name, Ruru took that as a cue to excuse himself in order for him to call Kylie back. This had intrigued Gabbi, to a point that the vicious jealousy she had felt over her former co-star, had returned.

The sense of urgency that Ruru had for her was different, and Gabbi knew that something was up. She might not have known what it was yet, but she swore that she would.

"Hello? Ky?" Ruru said, as soon as he was out of the boys' quarters and out of his ex's sight.

"Ruru?"

"Ky, sorry. Sorry, di ko nasagot yung tawag mo. Masyadong busy kasi dito sa set pero wag kang mag-alala. Nandito na ko." Ruru explained, as if the woman he was talking to on the other line was his significant other. Well, he wished that she was.

"Okay ka lang ba? Nagugutom ka ba? Eh si baby, okay lang ba?"

Kylie couldn't help but smile at the way Ruru was worrying about her and the baby. Despite the fact that it wasn't his responsibility to look after the both of them, the way he was acting resembled that of a father's and it truly melted her heart.

"I'm okay. We're okay." She said. "I just... um... I miss you... I guess."

Kylie was impulsive as heck, but this decision of hers, to tell Ruru that she missed him, that every bit of her wanted to be him, might've been one of the best impulsive decisions that she's ever made.

No, she didn't feel that way because she wanted to fill the void that Aljur left. She had only wanted to finally admit to herself that all this time, it was always Ruru.

She wasn't going to tell him that she read his letter, instead she was going to gradually make him feel that he was important to her and that maybe, all the roads of her miserable life would eventually lead her to that one, great destination and that was him.

"I miss you too." Ruru uttered, trying to stop himself from smiling like a goofball. "I always miss you."

"Kung alam mo lang, Ky. Sobra pa sa miss ang nararamdaman ko para sa'yo." He thought. "Pero okay na 'to. At least alam kong may lugar ako diyan sa puso mo."

Oh she knows, Ruru. She knows. You just don't need to find out.. yet.
