Circles-EDEN
•Bailey's POV•
I laughed at Lindsay as I watched her cry into Neto when Mufasa died.
"Don't laugh at me, just because my heart isn't cold." She joked back, wiping away her tears and petting Neto for comfort.
"Just because I don't have a boyfriend doesn't mean that I've got a cold heart." I snickered, throwing a pillow at her.
"You'll have to introduce me to this Tobi some day." I leant back on the sofa with a smirk on my face.
"He was at work today but you went off in such a rush I didn't get to." She said, throwing a few more pieces of popcorn in her mouth, giving Neto some also.
"Oh yeah." I frowned slightly, remembering the events of the day. I stretched out my legs and yawned obnoxiously before checking the time on my phone.
"It's getting late, I should probably head back." I looked up and Lindsay to see she was on her phone, probably texting her boyfriend.
"Awe okay." She glanced up and pouted as we both got up and stretched. I made my way to the door after petting Neto.
"I'll see you later." I called into the flat as I opened the door.
"Text me when you get back." She shouted as I closed the door.
Her words made me smile slightly.
I looked up to the blackened skies as droplets of rain fell onto my head. I smiled brightly, walking along with a spring in my step, the fresh smell of rain making it even better. Dancing in the rain was one of the fondest memories I with my mum.
When I got back to my flat, I changed into dry clothes and put my now fuzzy hair up in a small ponytail before plopping myself down on my desk chair. I quickly started up the computer and started to edit my latest video when I heard a knock at the door.
I got up from my seat and looked through the peephole to see someone's back against it. I sighed and unlocked the door, not really caring if I got murdered.
