Chapter 9.😌
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rose's POV
My eyes fluttered open as the smell of the sea awoke me from my hellish nightmare of him. My vision was blurry due to the fact that my glasses were off. I shifted but stopped moving when I felt something tightened around my waist.
Suddenly, everything came back.
The hunt.
The deer.
Bruce.
Laylee.
Bernice and Clint.
Elliot.
The cave.
Him.
I drew in a shaky breath as I attempted to turn around and make sure what happened was just a nightmare that my mind came up with.
Nothing more.
I slowly turned my body so that whatever or whoever was holding me I now faced. When my blurry vision picked up light brown with yellow above it I felt my heart drop and whatever color that was visible on my face was now gone.
I could feel his breath fan my face as the sound of his slow breathing reached my ears. I was pressed against his bear chest as his long arms encircled me tightly, keeping me in place. I could feel his legs were tangled with my own now that I disturbed his sleep, his hold on me tightened ever so slightly.
I wanted to break down, right then and there.
Not only had he found me, he kidnapped me and was taking me somewhere far away from the only place I've ever known my entire life.
I let a tear slip free as I thought about how no one would know if I was missing or not for the next 2 months. It was rare for anyone to leave their homes during this time unless there was a break in the storm or there was some kind of emergency. Either way Jose wouldn't know I was missing until the storm ended and calling him was out of the question since calls barely connected.
I don't know how long had passed until he shifted and started waking up but when I saw that blur of ocean blue I felt my body move on its own and I started fighting.
I placed my hands on his chest, trying to get some kind of distance between me and the demon that held me captive. I kept pushing but his grip grew stronger, the harder I pushed the closer he pulled me towards him. Eventually, I was so close to him that I could feel every part of my body pressed against his.
His gaze locked with my blurry one in place as I kept fighting. His arms were still wrapped around me in a vice like grip and I could feel the circulation in my arms begin to slow. His legs were pinning mine down so it was pointless try to move them.
I stopped my struggling when he suddenly pushed his face into the crook of my neck and I felt all my fear from the cave return. My body shook as he inhaled my scent, guiding the tip of his nose up and down my jugular vein.
He suddenly started chuckling. "Good evening my dear~ I absolutely love the smell of your fear~".
I froze as one of his hands started moving downwards, towards my behind. My brain was utterly scrambled with fear. I couldn't process anything as all that coursed threw my body was complete and utter fear. The internal shock making me hyperventilate and soon I felt my eyes grow heavy and everything went black.
