Rose's POV

I sighed as I watched Diamante and Trebol try to calm down the hysterical preteen. Doflamingo tried to block out her crying by shoving his face against my neck. I gently patted his head to get him to move as the angle in which my neck was in was uncomfortable.

"Do you have any idea of how to get her to stop?", he pleaded as Baby 5's shrieking grew louder.

I adjusted my glasses before I answered him. "That's a dumb question. If you haven't noticed by my appearance and skills I'm basically a professional in any and everything related to this".

"A simple "yes" would've been sufficient", he grumbled.

"Yes but what's the fun in that? It's hard living with a teenaged girl with no woman around at times like this to help you through these kinds of things", I said, moving forward so that I could stand from his lap. "Now if you'll excuse me I have to go save those two before they make it even worse".

"How's that possible?", Doflamingo asked as I stood up from his lap.

I turned around and smiled down at him. "She has some impressive vocal cords on her. If they say something and she takes it in the wrong way then all  she has to do is take a deep breath and let it loose".

"I'll give you enough money to buy an entire clothing store if you get her to stop", he pleaded, blocking his ears as Baby 5 went a pitch higher.

I smiled before I turned on my heel and strode over to where Baby 5 sat on the ground, balling her eyes out. "Excuse me gentlemen", I said as I stepped around the two men and crouched down in front of the preteen. "Hey there, sweetie", I said softly, gently caressing her cheek. "Why all the tears?"

Baby 5 sniffed as she tried to get her tears under enough control to answer me. "I-I'm d-dying!", she managed to get out before she began crying again.

"Come on now, why do you think you're dying?", I asked, giving her a soft smile as I waved at Diamante and Trebol to give us some space.

They reluctantly left us alone to do their own thing.

"I-I...I had...pain in my stomach for the whole week th-then yesterday it finally stopped a-and then this m-morning I went to the bathroom and there w-w-was BLOOD!!", she began screaming again and the tears began to come down in waterfalls.

"Shhh, come on now there's no need for tears and I don't think you're dying sweetie", I said before I looked to my left and saw a clean napkin laying on one of the tables. Quickly grabbing it I returned to her and began drying her face as much as I could.

"How do you know?", she sniffed and rubbed her eyes as she took the napkin from my hand before blowing her nose.

"I'm a nurse sweetie. I've worked with and seen all kinds of people in my days of working at both my island's hospital and school. If you were actually dying I would've told you".

Baby 5 sniffed again. "If I'm not dying then what's happening to me? Because I'm sure blood isn't supposed to come from-", she leaned forward and whispered into my ear "-down there".

I smiled at her before turned around to see Doffy staring at us. When I had caught his eye I winked at him before I adjusted my glasses and turned back towards Baby 5. "Let's move somewhere more private sweetie. I need to explain somethings to you and maybe give you a quick check up. Are you ok with that?"
