Possessive

Getting ready for a business meeting early on the morning is one of the many things I hate. I hate morning meetings because I'm not a morning person.

Today, I'm going to meet some presidents of other companies for our partnership. As far as I remember, there will be three of them. So all in all, it's going to be four including me. I don't know who it's going to be because I didn't read the memo about this meeting. I just know that I have a meeting because my secretary reminded me of that.

Coincidentally, I met two of them, Mr. Kim and Ms. Bae at the elevator on the way to the 5th floor. We arrived at the room and I was shocked when I saw Yoona in there. How could I forgot? Their company is one of our company's partner that's why she's here.

This is the first time I saw Yoona after our talk in the restroom. It's been quite a long time when that happened. She left me completely dumbfounded in there and didn't show herself to me until now.

"I guess we're all here already. Shall we start?" Mr. Kim spoke and we all nodded. The one seated beside me is Mr. Kim, Yoona is in front of me and beside her is Ms. Bae. They're sitting too close with each other and it irritates me.

As the meeting goes by, I have noticed that Yoona is being uncomfortable beside Ms. Bae. It looks like she wanted to switch seats because Ms. Bae is doing some skinship with her. It's so obvious that Miss Bae is pushing herself to Yoona 'physically' which is making her uncomfortable.

Yoona moved a little to her left side to make a little space between the two of them but to no avail because Ms. Bae just moved closely to her. As if defeated, Yoona stopped resisting. It made my blood boil given the fact that I'm in front of two persons flirting with each other and one of them is the girl I love the most.

It shocked me when Miss Bae rested her head on Yoona's shoulder. I looked at Yoona and see if she'll going to push her away or something that will show that she didn't like it but she did nothing. Miss Bae smiled and I can't deny that she is indeed very beautiful. It irritated me more because she's prettier than me.

Next thing she did made me lose my temper. She put her arms on MY Yoona's waist. I slammed the table and got up from my chair, my eyes not leaving where Ms. Bae's hand is. I went into Yoona and grabbed her away from her.

"Excuse us." I said before we completely leave the room.

"Seriously? The rest room again?" Yoona asked as soon as we reached the place. I was glad she didn't complain along the way. Maybe she's used to that.

I just glared at her and didn't answer.

"Why?" She asked.

"Don't you flirt in front of me." I said while pointing at her.

"I'm not flirting with Suzy."

"Not flirting? Suzy? So you address each other with first name basis? You two must be really close then, especially having those skinships while we're having a meeting." And while I'm in front of you. I also want to say that out loud but I can't. I am nothing to her.

"Are you jealous?" She asked while smirking.

"I'm not!"

"So defensive." She murmured.

"I just answered your question." I retorted.

"Okay then." She said and shrugged, I just rolled my eyes at her. But yes, I am jealous. I just can't admit that to her.

"Can we go back now?" Yoona asked and I nodded.

When we came back, I met Ms. Bae and Mr. Kim's look as if asking 'what happened'

"Sorry for that. I just need to say something to her." I said to the two of them.

"And you can't do that here?" Suzy asked. This girl is actually getting through my nerves. I noticed that Mr. Kim is being a little uncomfortable so I smiled.

"It's private." I answered.

"If you say so. Shall we proceed now?" She asked.

"Wait. Can we... Uhhh. Switch seats?" Mr. Kim asked.

"Why?" Suzy asked.

"I... I know the seats are not a big deal but I really want to. Can... Can I... sit beside Yoona too?" He asked and his cheeks blushed. Oh my gosh, is he trying to hit on MY yoona too?

"Why would you want that?" Yoona asked.

"It's okay if you don't want to. I understand that you have a possessive boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?!" Both Suzy and I asked in a high pitched voice at the same time.

I heard Yoona chuckled beside me while all the three of us are looking at her, waiting for her answer.

"Actually..." She started talking and paused. She looked at Suzy and Myungsoo then she looked at me. She encircled her arms on my waist which surprised me. "Ms. Hwang here is my fiancée. So, no boyfriend." She continued talking. "Don't react like that baby. I have no one other than you. Don't worry okay? I only love you" Yoona said while smiling at me. How I wish all of that was true.

"O...kay then." Myungsoo said in his most awkward tone.

Our meeting continued and we... indeed switched seats. Yoona is sitting beside me while holding my hand and in the front of us are Suzy and Myungsoo. This is the only meeting I have attended where seats matter that much.

When Suzy and Myunsoo got out of the room after our meeting, Yoona let go of my hand. "What was that for?" I asked her.

"What?"

"Why did you introduced me as your fiancée?"

"Sorry for that. I just have to do that for them to stop and... For you not to be jealous." She answered while fixing her things and not looking at me.

"You can't just do that." I said.

"I'm really sorry Mi Young but can we at least pretend in front of them? Just when the two of them are around." Pretend? Can't we make it real? It's better if it's true.

"O...okay" I answered. I really wanted it although we'll just going to pretend.

"Thank you but... please... don't fall for me." She said and in an instant, my heart shattered.
