Third Person's POV

"Just try it. Come on! You have nothing to lose, right?" Yuri said to encourage her best friend, Yoona, to go on a blind date.

"I'm married to my work." Yoona replied not even looking to the girl she's talking to because she's busy typing something on her laptop.

"Really? You have to try more because that reason isn't convincing." Yuri replied and sat beside her best friend to see what she was doing. 'It's her rest day yet she's still working.' Yuri thought.

"I don't have any other reason, Yul." Yoona simply replied, still focused on her work.

"Come on, Yoong. That was already two years ago. Haven't you moved on yet? You should be looking for a partner by now, are you still waiting? We don't even know if Tiffa—"

"Don't." Yoona interrupted Yuri before she could even say the name of a certain girl. She stopped typing and looked directly at her best friend's eyes. "Don't even say her name. I'm not ready to hear it again." Yoona continued to say and immediately shifted her gaze back to her laptop.

"I'm just suggesting that you should at least go ou—"

"I'll go." Yoona, once again, spoke without letting Yuri finish her sentence. Those two words she has said made Yuri's eyes widen and she wondered if she heard her right. "What?" Yuri asked.

"I said I'll go. Now, do me a favor and be quiet because I have to finish this otherwise I'll change my mind." Yuri just smiled upon hearing her best friend's statement because she must not scream. She knows that Yoona might really change her mind if she couldn't finish what she was doing so she decided to just leave her alone in the room to gain more focus.

"I'll just text the time and venue. Make sure you'll go!" That was Yuri's last words before she shut the door completely. Yoona just smiled and shook her head because of her best friend's actions.

---

Yoona is currently in front of the mirror and contemplating whether she would go or not. She's wearing a plain white v-neck shirt, ripped jeans matched with white sneakers. She had decided not to wear her contact lens that made her bright purple eyes noticeable.

"I have finished my work so I should go, right? That's what I've said to Yuri." She said to herself in front of the mirror. She thought that Yuri might get mad at her if she will not do what she have said earlier but she will also forgive her after 2 or 3 days because she is her best friend, Yoona thought.

"No, that's taking our friendship for granted. That's just so wrong." Yoona talked out loud to herself again. She scratched her head in a very confused manner because she's so torn between going to the blind date or to just laying down in her bed all day. She looked at the left side of her make-up dresser and took the only picture frame there. It was dusty, indicating that it hasn't been clean in a week. The picture inside is fading a little bit because it was taken two years ago.

Yoona looked at the girl on the picture who was smiling genuinely, it's hard to see the girl's eyes since it was formed like a crescent moon due to her smile. Yoona's lips curved upwardly—a forced smile and asked, "Is it time to let go?"

Yoona grabbed the key to her car and drove away, not towards the café that is the venue Yuri had told her for the blind date but to the place she missed—beside the river where she met the love of her life. It took her less than an hour to reach her destination. Yoona took a deep sigh before turning off her car's engine and went out of it afterwards.
