Chapter 1: Introducing Nicole

Nicole was only 11 years old when her parents passed away after they got into a car accident. Since then, Nicole has lived in an orphanage. She is now 13 and since the time that she was first put into an orphanage, she has been adopted twice. Unfortunately, the families that had adopted her, ended up having kids of their own and didn't want her anymore so they would send her off to yet another orphanage.

Because she was moved from one place to another, she never made friends and was always lonely. She knew that if she got close to someone, something would happen and she would soon have to say goodbye to them.

For a few months now, Nicole has lived in an orphanage over in Atlanta. This was the Atlanta Orphanage for Girls. It was a two-storey building with the kitchen, dining room and the common room on the first floor, and all the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. There are twenty girls at the orphanage and ten bedrooms so each bedroom is for two girls.

Nicole and her roommate Jessie would talk sometimes but they are not really friends. Nicole is very closed off and lives in her own little world.

Nicole's mind is full of dreams and aspirations that she would love to achieve. She has never shared those thoughts with anyone though because she's scared that people might think she's crazy and will tell her that none of the things she wants will ever happen. Deep down she already knows that her dreams will not come true. But she still hopes.

Hey everyone! So this is my new story and I am willing to be more active and will update more often than I did with my previous one which I deleted as I didn't know where to go with that.
