The lunch was finally ready. We had chicken soup with garlic breadbites. Joseph went to sit next to Persia while I was still sat opposite her. I must've not realised how hungry I was as I was the first one to finish and asked for another portion. The food was so delicious. I haven't had anything like this for ages.

The three of us ate in silence until I asked, "What are we doing after lunch?"
"What would you like to do?" Persia asked back.
"I don't really know."
"Well it's up to you sweetheart. It's your first day here so we'll let you decide." Joseph said.
"Ok." I replied and smiled.
I realised that I smiled a lot at them. But I couldn't help it. They're both so sweet and I feel safe around them. I couldn't be any happier right now.

I finished my lunch and all of a sudden asked, "Can we order pizza for dinner today?"
"What! You're already thinking about dinner? You just had your lunch." Joseph said with a grin.
"Just planning ahead haha! After all, you were the one who said I can decide what we're doing today. So, there you go. And also, there can never be too much food haha!"
"Yes, you're right about all that."
"You know what? Let's order pizza. We haven't had that for a while Joe and it'll give us all a nice, fun, easy chance to get to know each other a little." Persia said.
"Right then, pizza it will be." Joseph said.
"Yay!" I exclaimed as I got up to go and put my dish in the washing machine. "And thanks by the way. The meal was really nice."

I then went into the living room and sat down on a couch. I looked around. Safe to say that so far this is the biggest room I've seen in the house. One of the walls was almost completely occupied by the TV. Great for family nights. Along another wall were shelves with framed paintings that I assume they had painted themselves, neatly arranged photos, also in frames, and some other things. The rest of the room consisted of couches and chairs, and in the middle there was a small glass coffee table that had some newspapers and magazines on it. Just the arrangement of everything made it feel like home. Nothing too much and nothing too less. They had made it just perfect.

Joseph came in and sat next to me. By that point I was sat looking thoughtfully at the paintings on the shelves.
He put a hand on my shoulder and asked, "You OK dear?"
"Yeah. I'm just thinking that I want to decorate my room like this. You know, with paintings on the walls and shelves and stuff. They look cool on the wall in the hallway. And the paintings themselves are really fascinating."
"Well first of all, thank you. And i'm sure we can sort something out for you for your bedroom. Do you paint?" He still had his hand on my shoulder.
"Yes, I do. Art is one of my biggest hobbies."
"Now then, see! There's already one thing we can all bond over as a family." He said and smiled.
I smiled back. I love them both. So far Joseph has been the one who's talked to me the most but then again, I guess he is the talkative one. Persia seems like the quiet one but I'm sure me and her will have things to talk about too.
"Are you guys showing me around the rest of the house?"
"Yes of course. Let's allow Persia to finish off in the kitchen and then we'll get to that."
"Ok."

After about five minutes or so, Persia walked in from the kitchen. "Well look at you two all cuddled up. Bonded already?"
I sprang up from the couch, ran up to her and gave her a tight hug.
"Don't you dare to think that you're not getting a hug." I said and laughed.
"Right then. Have you decided what we're doing now?" she asked.
"Joseph said that you and him are showing me round the house." I said with excitement.
They both laughed at me and I couldn't help but laugh along with them.
"Let's go then." Persia said.

So we started round the house. On the first floor, there was obviously the kitchen and the living room. There was a study room. Joseph said that I could use that room to do my homework when I started school unless I preferred to do it in my bedroom. There was also a games room. There was a shelf full of boardgames and a TV with a games console. This was used when friends came over or for family social nights.
The second floor doesn't have that many rooms. Just a bathroom and my parents' and my bedrooms. And there was another bathroom within their bedroom as well. Just like mine. When I thought that the living room was the biggest room in the house, I was wrong. And when I thought that my bedroom was massive, I was wrong about that too. My parents had the biggest room in the house.

After about fifteen minutes of us walking around the house and Joseph and Persia telling me what and where is what, we went back downstairs. We decided to watch movies till pizza time which was gonna be 7 o'clock.
