"We have got to fucking find wherever these people took Meagan!" I said as we sped down the highway.

We hadn't a clue about where Meagan had gone at all, but maybe if we drove and saw a suspicious building or something, we'd have a good shot at finding her. But honestly, who knows anymore. What would you do if the love of your life got kidnapped and you had not freaking idea where on earth she was taken? If you're normal, yeah, you're probably going to call the cops and look for them or something, but if you're us, you're going to forget about cops completely and set out on a trek to find them even though you have absolutely no clue where they would have gone. Yupp, that's us for ya. Nothing stops us from anything that happens with our friends.

"Ok, not like anyone saw or heard anything, but did any of you happen to see anything after we heard the scream?" I asked.

"Um, I did see a white van drive down the street. I didn't think anything of it though," Andy said.

"Wait, what?!" I asked, furious that he hadn't mentioned this before. "Why didn't you say anything before?!"

"I didn't think it was anything at the time," he shrugged. "I was more focused on the scream. I'm sorry."

"Jesus, ok," I said as I rubbed my temples. "Lets just keep driving and maybe we'll see the van."

"For all we know, they could have gone the complete opposite way, but it's worth a shot," Joe said.

"It can't hurt to try," Patrick said.

We continued driving for a good ten minutes and I was honestly losing hope already. I didn't say anything nor did I try and show how much I was hurting, but I was really hurting and ready to burst into tears again. Patrick must have noticed, because well, he always notices everything with me, and he gave me a saddened look. I glanced at him, then looked away. What else was I supposed to do?

"This fucking sucks," Marie sighed as she put her head down, a single tear falling to the floor of the vehicle.

"Tell me about it," I said.

"Like honestly, who in their right mind would so something like this?!" Elisa asked.

"That's the thing," Patrick said. "They're not in their right mind. Anyone who would do something like this is fucking insane."

"Ain't that the fucking truth," I sighed.

***ANDY'S POV***

This is fucking sick. Straight up fucking sick and twisted. First off, whoever did this, how'd they know we were coming down to the lake house? We only told our families and they didn't tell anyone. Sure, we saw people around town, but it's a small, secluded town, so there's not too many people. Everyone in this town seems so harmless and nice, but maybe I'm wrong.

"How long have we be-," Patrick was going to ask, but he got cut off by what sounded like gun shots.

We all turned out heads and looked out the rearview window. There was a black van ganging on us and there was a person with a mask standing up through the window on top of the van, shooting at our vehicle. Joe, who was driving, started speeding up, passing cars on the highway, nearly hitting some, but when you're getting shot at, yeah, you're going to speed up and try to get away.

"Go faster!" Pete shouted.

"What the hell do you think I'm trying to do?" Joe asked. "I'm going just about as fast as I can!"

"Hey! Stop yelling! It's not going to help anything, ok? Just let Joe focus on his driving so we don't flip the freaking vehicle over," Patrick said.
